Fecal Testing
Fecal Testing is now 10% off now until the end of the year!
What is the purpose of routine fecal testing?
Glad you asked! Routine fecal exams are used to detect intestinal parasites in your pets. These parasites may include worms, such as hookworms, roundworms, and whipworms. (No these are not worms used to bate a hook for fishingπͺ±π£) Parasites not only cause intestinal diseases, but some of them can also be infectious to their humans π³ like hookworms, roundworms, and Giardia.
What if I am not seeing worms in my pets stool, how can he still have worms?
Great question! Most intestinal worms remain within the body and are not shed in the stool. Instead, these worms lay microscopic eggs that are shed into the environment. A fecal parasite exam searches for these eggs.
So bring a fresh stool sample at the time of your appointment to get 10% off the fecal test through the end of this year!
