!! WARNING: DON’T SEND YOUR DOG TO PRISON!!

Sending your dog to private Board and Trains that do not allow you to visit while they are in training is not only a terrible idea, its also an indication that your dog will be involved in high pressure learning situations that can leave permanent scars. Those scars could take years of work to improve, or may cause certain tools to become unusable for the life of the dog!

Dog Training as an industry is a strange place, there is a host of tactics, strategies (like the above paragraph), and "secrets" companies of all sizes use to get you, the client, to buy their products. We here at Natural State K9, from the day this company was started by Kemp, pledge to use clear communication that is easily understood, and be transparent about what happens to your loved pets while being trained with us.

IF YOU CAN NOT go and visit your dog, with an hour heads up notice, while it is being trained in a board and train situation AND your dog is not going for behavioral issues. You should be really skeptical, and asking questions.
Dealing with behavioral cases is another matter entirely and in specific instances there is reason to block the owners (temporarily.... a week, 2 weeks tops) from influencing the dog and its behavior. But blocking doesn't mean no video updates, text communications of the days events, etc.

We offer 2, 4, and 6 week board and train options, and not only allow but encourage owners to come and be part of training while their dog is here.
