Hi guys! Dogladykatie here 👋🏼 Did you know little dogs are some of favorites to train? The hardest part with 4lb Finnegan though is lacking confidence and no food or toy drive. He just wanted to sit on my lap and bark at everything that disrupted his peace. 🤦🏼‍♀️ One of my favorite commands to teach him ended up being one of his favorite commands to do! Good news, he loved being pet and getting belly scratches. So we used it to our advantage every step of the way! So why is down so important and NOT just in my lap? For so many reasons but self confidence, trust in me or his handler (owner when he goes home), impulse control and mindset. Small dogs need just as much training as big dogs! I’m obsessed with him! Do more with your dog 🐾🐾

Happy dogs are our goal, obedient dogs are the byproduct! 🐾😃
