We have had many threads about ways to support and reduce anxiety in dogs.

First thing would be to detox from rabies vaccine using homeopathic lyssin or any of the other choices that a homeopath might recommend. Rabies Vax often causes agitation and anxiety.

Then remove hot chi foods such as chicken from diet. Replace with beef or turkey. Those are cooler foods.

Of course there are great Young Living essential oils that can help such as Stressaway, Peace and Calming, Lavender, Vetiver and even some less well known but very effective like Shutran.

Try putting any of these on these acupressure spots too. You can gently yet firmly press these points (watch those fingernails!) for 60 seconds or massage.

You've probably heard about h**p for pets as it has been growing in popularity recently.

What is your protocol to prevent cancer? Since 50% of dogs now are being diagnosed with cancer, this reflects the incredible toxicity of the home, yard and diet our dogs are being exposed to. Science has shown that most cancers are environmental and only influenced to a small degree by breed or genes.

I'll start. Here's my protocol. Let's talk about things you may be doing that you feel are important as well.

1) Species specific raw meat diet, 80/10/10 up to even higher organ content (sometimes closer to 20%)

2) Variety of organs, not just the few often seen in raw blends (liver, kidney, spleen). I source lots of variety to be sure we are feeding all organ systems as much as possible through either dehydrated or freeze dried and locally sourced organ variety.

3) High levels of antioxidants. These are the body's cancer fighting soldiers that prevent free radicals from forming and causing cancer. The best I've found is NingXia Red. I feed at least 1/2 Oz daily for 60 lb dogs, more when toxin or stress load is greater. I never miss a day with this for myself or the dogs. I feed 1-5 capsules of dietary sulfur daily in the form of Sulfurzyme to keep mitochondria fed and functioning properly inside cells.

4) Eliminated chemical laden pesticides, herbicides, cleaners and personal care products from our home. We use things like diatomaceous earth, Thieves Cleaner line, non toxic Savvy makeup and lotions, shampoos, conditioners etc. from Young Living.

5) Substituted natural bug repelling plant oils for flea and tick control. (I spray my dogs with Cedarcide and YLEOs instead of toxic choices. We have zero flea or tick problems right now and live on acreage in mosquito country in humid Gulf Coast. All my friends are struggling. We have no issues at all using this method.)

6) Eliminated all carcinogenic products from under sinks, in bathrooms, especially in garage. Learned to read labels to identify carcinogenic components such as SLS, phthlates, triclosans, artificial dyes and colors, etc. (See my Chemical Free Pet class under UNITS section in here to learn this skill.)

7) Use of natural antibiotics, pain killers and anti inflammatories (no Tramadol or Rimadyl and certainly no synthetic antibiotics ever).

8) Natural supports for reduction of worms or other pathogens when load is found to be causing undesirable symptoms. We do not have a war against pathogens at my property since they are a part of the microbiome and never should be completely eliminated. They serve a purpose.. Some of them actually remove heavy metals from the hosts body!

9) Elimination of injectable vaccines since they are loaded with carcinogens and foreign animal proteins that inflame the body. Use of nosodes, diet, natural Immunity protocols, and immune supports to produce blood serum titers and ability to survive disease rather than using poisons to kill the pathogens along with the host.

10) Regular exposure to fresh air, natural sunlight and purified water we do not kennel our dogs for long periods due to the high level of stress it causes. Stress produces cancer-causing cortisone as well as toxic chemicals do. Cortisone is called the death hormone, is responsible for rapid aging and is linked to cancer. It is caused by chronic stress. We use Cortisol if stress becomes unavoidable. This reduces cortisone levels naturally. (If the quarantine or financial worries are causing stress, Cortisol can be incredibly helpful along with emotional balancing techniques such as massage with YLEOs.)

11) Intentional reduction of negative emotions in the house hold. Animals resonate at our frequency. If we are stressed, angry, depressed, anxious etc... This brings our pets into that lower frequency as well. These are also a factor in cancer.

12) Intentional focus on positive emotions of love, joy, gratitude, charity and serving others. These emotions also resonate with our animals and can reduce the body's ability to form cancerous tumors. There is a lot of science behind this.
