Arthur is a young special needs boy on the list for a service dog!
Acquiring a service dog is a very lengthy and expensive process, so his family is looking for some support getting the word out to help him get what can be such a life changing help for a kiddo like Arthur. Update:

We are staying closed today with this yuck and slush! We will be open normal hours tomorrow for grooming and daycare. We will see you all then, please stay safe! ❤️

Hi everyone,

To be extra safe for my staff and our pets, tomorrow morning our lobby will be closed, daycare and grooming will also be closed for the day in its entirety.

We should be open from 3-6 as normal as long as things have calmed and the roads are being treated.

One of us will be staying the night with the boarding pups we have currently to make sure all is well!

I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but we definitely want to play it safe with such icy conditions.

We're supposedly in for some yucky weather this weekend and into early next week:

If we happen to lose power here we have a generator for everyone to stay snuggly so worry not!

If we lose our phone at any point during this inclement weather, please email us at [email protected] if you're unable to reach us by calling and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

We have rooms available for those pets who's house is without power as well.

Our backdrop was held up by duct tape and Lily kept trying to eat Santa’s beard, but this was such a fun little holiday celebration! ✨

A few of our pups were a little off put by this big weird jolly man(who looked a lot like me, but they couldn’t be sure!)so if you don’t see their picture with him we didn’t want to force anyone to interact❤️

With this; we’re going to take a little break from social media until the new year! We are so grateful for all the outpouring of love, cards and gifts from everyone. Your kindness to me and my team is always so appreciated, and we wish you all the happiest of holidays!

Daycare will resume on the 2nd of January, and make sure to check our website (or post further back on our fb feed) for any hour changes.

Meet Catfish, 🐟 our adorable Dog of the Week! He is brought to you by our friends from Green Front Furniture and the Southside SPCA!

Do you love a man with a beard? Then you’ll love Catfish! This precious scruffy terrier was rescued from a rural animal control. He has a social, friendly personality and is always up for a good time! He seems to enjoy the company of other dogs and would make a great adventure buddy for some lucky adopter!
At approximately 18 months and 43lbs, he’s the perfect age and size – not too old, not too young, not too heavy, not too light! Home ownership and fenced yard preferred.

Santa is here this week visiting with our good boys and girls, and has brought pup cups with warm “cider”! So far, everyone is having a good time celebrating the holidays, and Santa still has his hat intact(even though Cameron wanted otherwise hehe) 🎄🎁

Santa thinks next year it might be time for a new beard because his nose seems to be missing 😂

🎄Next week Tuesday through Friday our daycare pals will be getting a visit from the one, the only, SANTA! To celebrate the Pawlidays, they will have some yummy "cider" pupcups, take some fun photos while out in group and will have a little surprise for their paw-rents when they pickup.

Our boarders will also partake in some yummy cider tasting and holiday cheer!

If you haven't already, make sure to mark your calendars for our annual daycare "end of year" closure from December 23rd to January 2nd so we can come back refreshed in the new year.

Come join us for the Southside SPCA 13th Annual Holiday Donation Drive from 12-5 PM. They'll have free pet photos with Santa, crafters/vendors and bakers on site to kick off your holiday shopping, and we'll be there with our ever-popular PB dog treats, cat toys made especially for this event, and our usual wares. There will also be special guests the Pit Boss Shorty Rossi and 4-time Wicked Tuna Outer Banks champion Captain Greg Mayer will be joining us also. Sweet Redd's food truck will be there serving up their delicious food too. Come spend the afternoon with us!
