Good luck this hunting season! Make memories that will last forever. I have mounts in my room that I can look at and immediately remember that moment or that person. From a buck my great grandfather shot in 1948 to the 12 point my dad shot when I was hunting with him at age 13.

If you do not know how to properly cape a deer for a mount, then PLEASE find someone who does!!! I have gotten in so many deer this season that were unusable because the person caping them had no clue what they were doing. There will be a $35 charge added to your mount if I have to replace your cape with a spare. I do not have an unlimited supply of extra capes.

With deer season starting soon, just a reminder about how to properly cape a deer that you plan to have mounted. Remember to take your time and that more hide is better than not enough hide. Or you can just take it to Stancill’s Wild Game Processing and know that it will be caped properly and you will get the best meat processing around!
