Quick lazy training hack: when cooking, I place a mat in the kitchen. Periodically I walk over and make a big show of reinforcing the mat for staying there. I tell it what a good mat it is, and give it hot dogs or dog safe scraps of whatever I’m cooking. Oddly enough, the dogs start to hang out on the mat. I mean, it’s not like the mat is going to eat those snackos, so they might as well help out. I did this tonight with my two guest dogs (Rolli and River). They figured it out very quickly. ❤️
