📢We just wanted to give a great big congratulations to our employee of the month, Elizabeth!!

Elizabeth has been with us since January and has made a big impact to our staff and clients. She currently has two degrees in animal science and biology and will soon be attending University of Tennessee's Veterinary program. She loves making a difference in someone else's day as well as she is always ready to help people. Outside of work Elizabeth has some pups of her own and loves to take Parker, Cricket, and Culper to the dog park. Elizabeth also enjoys hanging out with her boyfriend and visiting her home city of Chicago. We have loved every minute Elizabeth has been with us, she will always brighten up someone's mood just by making them laugh. We are proud and honored that we have such a bright and intelligent person on our team. We can not wait to see Elizabeth to become a Vet! Congratulations Elizabeth!! 💖

Join us in welcoming Dr. Erin McKee to Concord Veterinary Hospital! Dr. McKee graduated from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland in 2019. As a veterinarian, she enjoys emergency medicine and reproductive services. Overall, she enjoys ensuring that all the pets that pass through our doors live their best and healthiest lives! Dental health is important. We strive to make the process as safe and easy as possible, but what steps do we take to help keep your fur baby safe?

🌟 Pre-op Bloodwork: By preforming pre-op blood work we can adjust our pre-anesthetic and anesthetic protocol to the safest possible option. This can also show us if it is safe for your pet to go under anesthesia.

🌟 IV Catheter: We place an IV catheter so that we may give fluids throughout the dental. This also gives us quick access to a vein to administer emergency drugs if needed.

🌟 Monitoring: We monitor your pet closely while under anesthesia. This includes: blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, Co2, blood oxygen, and temperature.

🌟 Full Dental Radiographs: This allows us to examine your pet's teeth closer, so we can determine which teeth need to go and which can stay.

During a dental procedure we will also scale and polish the teeth to get all that nasty tarter off, leaving the patient feeling better.

🌟Meet Dori😍!
Dori is in need of a friendly❗ cat-free environment❗to call her home. That's right you could take home this fun, loving 12 year old 🐶coon hound. Don't worry about her age though she may be 12, but she walks🐕, talks, and plays like a 5 year old. Dori is ❗up to date on her vaccines and💕 heartworm prevention. She was also given a clean bill of health by our very own Dr. Lisa💕... ❗Aside from giving her a thyroid supplement once a day. 😢Sadly Dori was surrendered to us after being attacked be her previous housemates. 🌟She does do great with other dogs of all sizes🌟.
