Equine services are turn outs, feeding, grooming/ basic hoof care,bathing, workouts and riding for ex

I was raised on large farm with many animals, horses included and have surrounded myself with animals since a small child. As a former owner of a horses and pony of my own, as well as dogs and currently two cats, my ways are native ways, making the spirit driven and earth driven ways of the native people of our country part of every aspect of my service and my life. The Earth and it's animal occupants are not here to be used,neglected and controlled for our own selfish purposes, but instead we are to be stewards and guardians of them. I am of strong Cherokee and Celtic descent we are peaceful, gentle and nature oriented folk. I strive every day to live a life in honor of and memory of the gentle, spiritual and wise Native Ways of our ancestors. I have decided to really start putting my services back out there again. I have been working as an Administrative Assistant since I moved to Knoxville ( Louisville ) last year and I just feel very pulled to try to turn my Farm and Pet Care Service into the thriving business it was in its 6 years in Ellijay, GA. I miss being self employed, I miss being with the animals every day, I miss that connection with nature you are cut off from in an office. I was my happiest when my Farm and Pet Care Service was thriving. Also, I have never worked for an employer who showed me even close to the appreciation my clients and my animals showed me. The love is with and from the animals, and the respect has to come from me.

Photos of the raptors I've found and put into the hands of wildlife rehabbers.
Barred Owl, 2018, Gatliburg, to Lynne McCoy,
Screech Owl, 2019, Sevierville, to Lynne, Red Tail Hawk, 2021, Jefferson City, to Lisa Tomlinson.
All were successfully rehabbed and released back into the wild.

I just found out Lynne McCoy passed away last week. She was a modern day patron saint of the animals and no one will ever take her place!!!!
I've visited her several times. She took in a Barred Owl I rescued in Gatlinburg in 2018, a screech owl I rescued in 2019, and a mallard duckling I rescued in 2020. In 2021 I found an injured red tail hawk on the highway in Jefferson. I stayed by the road for two hours until shortly before the rehabbers arrived, and flushed him back into the pasture so he wouldn't get hit.
By that time Lynn was no longer taking animals, thankfully another certified rehabber was able to take him.
One of my life goals is to have a certified animal sanctuary.
We should aspire to be stewards of the Earth and all it's creatures and inhabitants.

McCoy rescued hundreds of animals each year and rehabilitated them at home in Jefferson County.

I provide mobile animal and pet care services, which means I come to your home or farm. I do not provide care in my residence.
