In 2014 Trevor Carter began participating as a Road to The Horse Wildcard and in 2015, won the event with his horse, Sailor. He stepped into a round pen and competed along side previous champions Chris Cox and Jim Anderson. Participating in this event gave Trevor the opportunity to demonstrate the principles his mentors have shared with him all while showing the style of horsemanship which has bec

ome uniquely his own. Carter's ultimate goal is to honor the art of horsemanship and the Vaquero tradition of the Bridle horse through c**t starting, foundation work and the performance areas of reining, cutting and ranch horse versatility.

Smooth Sailing

We call on Sailor for a lot of jobs around here, but this is certainly his most important one.

Switch has had a good rest and I've had a chance to catch up with the horses and students we have here. I'm glad he's looking forward to getting started together as much as I am. Thank you all for joining in on this adventure and for your continued support. Here we go!

I'm always excited about nice weather on a sunny day. Especially on a weekend. Hope you all are getting some great horse time in and having a little fun while you are at it.
