Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I don’t have the words to express how thankful I am for everyone’s support. 4 years ago this business was just a thought. Eventually it became a dream and today it’s reality. I’m blessed well beyond what I deserve. Thanks to each and every one of you!

I will be open all day and into the evening friday-Sunday. I’m hoping to sneak out with my brothers in the morning and evening tomorrow (Thursday) but will still be around if needed. Questions about the CWD check in…here is the order of operations when you kill a deer

1. Shoot huge buck
2. Take huge buck to get checked in at fayette high school or closest check in station
3. Opt out of the CWD test at the high school or closest check in station so you’re legal but your cape isn’t ruined.
4. Bring huge buck to Busker Brothers Taxidermy @ 1530 state route A fayette Mo (sometimes maps doesn’t work so call 573-881-0681 if you need directions)
5. Allow me to properly skin your huge buck and then I’ll do the CWD test after
6. Bask in the glory of opening weekend success and the fact you got to show it off at two places!

Seriously the number of folks who still don’t know what’s going on with this has me scared folks…please help your fellow hunters.

It’s never too late to bring new life into an old set of horns! Killed in 2007 this old mount needed a fresh start. The buck had his nose up sniffing a doe when he stepped out so that’s how he’s on the hanging now.

Scrapes are heating up and several good bucks have already found a pickup bed. Good luck to everybody as we get closer to those bucks losing their minds and putting too much trust in their nose! When you get yours, give me a call at 573-881-0681. Look forward to a great season!

2024 deer season is here! Arrows are flying and Mr. Kalen has already had success just minutes after shooting light! Remember to be really careful on those beautiful early season capes. The hair is thin and even a short drag or too many hours in this hot sun will cause irreversible damage.

I put this beautiful main frame 10 together for a great friend using horns from a deer he killed 6 years ago and a cape from last year. When you get your early season buck or you want to bring one back to life from years ago give Tyler a call at 573-881-0681. Big announcement! Last Tuesday was my final day with MFA. Thank you to everyone who has trusted me from the beginning and made it possible for me to chase this dream. I appreciate yall more than you know. Here’s my latest project of 2 fighting bucks who got locked together and then tried to go swimming. Please like and follow my page if you don’t already!

On Sunday my wife and I welcomed our first child, Warner Jacob Busker. Momma and baby are happy and healthy! The beetles are still cleaning but my time in the shop is going to be less for a few weeks. I appreciate everyone’s patience while I soak up these special days.

BEETLE TIP- Dermestid beetles like fresh meat. The can’t eat rotten meat because the gases will kill them. When you harvest your deer and wish to have it euro mounted stick him in the freezer until you’re ready to deliver it to the shop.
