Meet Honey! She came in for a bath, paw pad trim, and nail trim with Kate! If you watch Kate work, you can tell she really loves the animals that come in to see her - and wants the best for them, too! She’s the best at making report cards, and will let you know where to brush 🐶

Although our main clientele is dogs, we groom many other animals and are trying to increase the amount of cats we see!

VACCINE REMINDER!!!

If you want your pup/s to come to Rover Oaks Pet Resort, they need to be current for the following 3 vaccines:
1.) Rabies (state law)
2.) Bordetella
3.) Parvo

While we work really hard getting this info from the vet clinics in town (vets get very busy!!) and try to remind everyone when they are due ..... we haven't gotten this down to a science yet, so your vaccinations are still your responsibility to bring to us.

Warning: If your dog doesn't have all the above vaccines... you will be TURNED away at the front door!

CONGRATULATIONS MRS. Leala Braslavsky! She got married this weekend!!! My favorite thing about Leala is how welcoming and at home she makes people feel, whether it be a customer or one of us, she’s always there to brighten your day!

We had a celebration for Leala today at lunch and don’t worry … Jack snuck in a work meeting too! Thanks to Maddie for cooking all of the food! Maybe her first time grilling haha

Next week you will meet all of our employees on Facebook … they may even have a name tag on next time you bring your dog 😉

It’s ADOPTION DAY!!!

I really didn’t know what to expect when we took in 2 foster dogs from Fayetteville Animal Shelter … but it worked out for everyone and we plan to keep this going. We plan on keeping some adoptable dogs here at Rover Oaks to help give back, think of how many dogs we can help out!

Mr. Worldwide aka Sirius Black has a new family coming to pick him up at 4pm! We are giving him a bath (comped the Ultimate Spa Package) and have a gift bag ready for his new home with toys, peanut butter flavored bubbles, and the latest flavor of dog cologne! He also gets 1 YEAR FREE of the PAMPERED POOCH PROGRAM ($708 value) as we want to thank his family, and selfishly … want to see him again!

ADOPT ME! Meet Sammy & Sirius Black! These 2 are from the Fayetteville Animal Shelter and are doing a residency at Rover Oaks until they find a new home.

All of the shelters in NWA are full so we took in 2 of their best, high energy dogs that need real grass to run around in! Jack says we have to find homes for these two sweethearts before Thanksgiving!

Meet Sammy … Mr. Samuel … SamIAm … Sampson … Sammy the Scholar! Sammy is a triple crown 👑 dog , and comes for daycare, boarding, and is a pampered pooch!!! He’s a member of our family here … we don’t pick favorites 😉, but if we did he would be one!

Sammy is probably our smartest and most well behaved dog at Rover Oaks … hence his nickname “Sammy the Scholar”! He also really loves this place… I can’t wait to put a camera on his collar and show his whole day here!

Sammy got a bath this morning, and his mom is on her way to pick him up. Check out the last picture on this post … I just took it … he’s at clean daycare hanging with Jack until pickup, but all he wants to do is go back to the Dog House and play with his friends!!!

Woof Woof! Look at our new break room table that Dima built us … no more eating off the washer & dryer or a grooming table coated with dog hair!

This is in the room adjacent to the front desk. We plan to hold morning meetings, family work dinners and just have a 10 foot table to use for whatever we want! I’m sure many fun ideas/experiences for your dogs will be created right here!

Bodie, Wren & Duncan earned the Report Card of the Day! They love Rover Oaks!

They come for boarding and really enjoy the fresh air we have … they love being outside in our all natural dog yards!

HWY 45 is getting a new “North Star” … aka a 20 foot tall, lit up 24/7 (bright will be an understatement) huge sign that will spread the good word of Rover Oaks to the thousands of cars that drive by us every day that don’t know we exist …

Dental health is huge for dogs, if you brush your dog’s teeth he/she really will live longer!

We’ve always charged $6 for a teeth cleaning and I’ve felt like we were “Scamming” customers… Scamming? Well we do a great job brushing teeth and your pup leaves with the best smelling breath, but it really only matters if you do it EVERY DAY. Dogs are like humans …

Now we are going to charge you more ($10) but when you purchase a teeth cleaning service, look what you go home with? Just like the dentist, we will send your pup home with a month supply of tooth paste, a tooth brush, and instructions … rumor has it cute dental bags are coming too!

Mr. Charlie Brown is our Dog of the Day today! He got to play with his friends Duke & Bandit, tanned outside, and helped us move 15 cubic yards of mulch.

Check out the great report card his dad was sent!

We are about to get really good at these and send them every day… I even want to offer something if you don’t receive one … like those places that give you something free if you don’t get a receipt.
