As sunny days and spring cleaning arrive, so do fresh flowers and new plant growth! Did you know lilies can be fatal to our feline friends? Many different kinds of plants are found or sold with “lily” as part of their name. A few grow wild in ditches and wooded areas, some are sold as bulbs in garden shops, and many are used in common floral arrangements. If you live with cats, it’s critical to know which lilies are toxic to your feline friend.

Give a round of applause to our very own Brittany Coughlin, RVT!

Brittany just passed her Veterinary Technician National Exam and her NC State Exam to officially become a Registered Veterinary Technician! To qualify, Brittany earned an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Medical Technology, which required the completion of difficult college coursework at Pima Medical Institute in Colorado Springs. We are so proud of Brittany and would love your help in congratulating her!
