One-day Agriculture Recovery Centers are planned to help North Carolina farmers recover from Helene damage. The first locations are set for Buncombe, Henderson, McDowell and Watauga counties. Additional events are planned for Ashe, Avery, Burke, Mitchell and Yancey counties. All are open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The walk-through events will provide information on addressing agricultural or rural needs not covered by standard programs offered by FEMA or the state, and offer opportunities for farmers, ranchers, nursery owners, vineyards, honeybee growers and fish producers to meet with agricultural officials to learn about assistance available.

The centers have specifically trained representatives of FEMA; the U.S. Department of Agriculture; North Carolina Department of Commerce; North Carolina Department of Agriculture; U.S. Small Business Administration; local Farm Service Agency officials; and other government agencies to assist agricultural workers with their recovery needs. Please bring evidence of ownership, or photos of damaged or lost tools and equipment, along with estimated replacement costs to expedite your application.

Good morning,
Just coming on to update you all on products. We are a small farm and what we produce we collect daily: eggs and milk specifically. That being said, PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH US! We are not Walmart or Food Lion.

Our chickens are currently freeloading! 🤣 Between this weather and a very late molting, all 250 laying hens are not laying at all. So eggs on the website are not available. I have updated inventory and still updating weekly.

Our bulk meat orders are processed as they come in to ensure you get the freshest possible. They do, however, come vaccumed sealed and frozen to make sure the quality of freshness lasts you for months.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your patience and support!

THIS!!! 😭😭😭😭 This is one load of a few that we GRACIOUSLY got donated to us from a dear friend and mentor. The panic I feel waking up at 2am, wondering how I’m going to afford hay before we move the livestock…..the fear is gone

Nebula aka Nebbie, was a friends goat that we adopted. We bred her with Stanley our Boer buck. We got 3 beautiful babies! 2 bucklings and a doeling. Nebbie is a boer/kiko so the boys will be our first bred meat goats.
She’s been an excellent mama so far…handling 3 like a champ! Not many mamas can do this!

Good morning! As everyone is cleaning up Halloween decor, please think of us for whole pumpkins! Our pigs love the pumpkins! You’re welcome to drop them off up front in the box or by the farm gate! If you want to feed them to the pigs message us for specific times you want to come by! Thank you!

Do you know this farm is 100% Woman-Owned? And I own and operate 2 right here in North Carolina! As of last the last census in 2017, “More than half of all farms, 56%, had a female producer, while 9% of farms were run entirely by women. These female-operated farms accounted for 38% of U.S. agriculture sales and 43% of U.S. farmland.” That means of of the 56% of about 3.4 million (1.9 million) are women producers. Roughly 171k are women owned and ran! The top ten states for agriculture are California, Iowa, Nebraska, Texas, Illinois, Minnesota, Kansas, Indiana, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. I know it will change this year! Some days it is mundane stuff like fixing roads, and cleaning out stalls. Some days it’s mentoring to military soldiers transitioning to farming. I’m not just a wife and mother and farmer, but wife to an army officer serving with 22 years still active. I serve at all capacities but I serve you all. Thank you for supporting our farm.
