Wedington Animal Hospital The clinic is closed every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 12:30-2pm for a clinic-wide staff meeting. Dr. Wright joined the practice about 3 months later.

Wedington Animal Hospital was established as North College Animal Hospital in February of 1993. It was just Dr. Herring and one other staff member for the first couple of months. In July of 2002 the clinic was moved to its current location at 4363 W Wedington Drive. Within a year they began looking for more associates. Currently the clinic is home to 8 full time Veterinarians, and approximately 48 additional staff members all dedicated to providing the best possible care for your pets.

With our temps getting chilly w***y, it’s not just uncomfortable—it’s dangerous for your pets!! Frostbite & hypothermia are real risks in this kind of weather. We’ve got some tips to help ensure that your furry kiddos will stay warm, safe, & cozy during these cold times 🧐🥶

🧊 Keep outdoor time short and sweet. 🌳🌨️
🧊 Break out alllllll the cute sweaters and jackets for your pets (yes, they’ll thank you, obvs). 🧥🧣
🧊 If they’re outside, make sure they have a warm, dry shelter. 🏠🌾 🛏️
🧊 Check those lil paws & beans for ice, salt, or cracks when they come back inside. 🧂
