It has been very cold the last few days. Everyone has been making it. Stocking up on round bales all around the back of the barn so everyone can stay close to water and shelter.

We are having to add some horses to Davis Stables. My lesson horses are getting older and I have to have some younger horses coming up.

This is Miss Jess Cat aka Charlie! She is a 2 yr old I bought last fall and started. She is doing amazing and going to be a great horse.

Thinking of adding a spring break camp back in this year but want to see how much interest there would be. Camp would be 9 to 12, March 20-24 for $400. Kids will learn basic horse care and have an hour of riding time on a different horse each day. Limited to 10 kids for the week. Ages 6 and up are welcome. Riders can have beginner to advanced riding skills.

Super proud of this little guy this weekend. Learning how to be a show horse is hard sometimes, but he got a 1st in his under saddle class against 12 horses and 3rd in one of his over fence classes. 😂

Well, Mother Nature must have thought we weren’t busy enough. Fences down, barn completely flooded, arena trashed. Going to take a bit to get everything fixed.

Davis Stables had an amazing weekend at Winterfest in Claremore. All of the girls had wonderful rides and accomplished a lot in their riding. I couldn’t ask for a better group
of kids and parents to make the weekend go smoothly.
