For those that were waiting on GSD pups, we finally have some. Themis and Kratos last litter before being full retired out. Born yesterday.

Will be full AKC, health tested, health guarantee, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. They will be high drive, full bites, solid minds and not for the weak of heart. These are working dogs, not meant to sit around and be bored all day. Her puppies have excelled in protection, SAR, and service dog work. They will be ready to go at 9 weeks and will be good with kids, cats, other dogs, know chickens and horses. Will come with starts on heel, here, sit, down. Will be mostly kennel trained.

We love dogs and our prices do not reflect our quality. Instead we believe that everyone deserves to have a well trained dog and the current prices are just way too high. Your babies are also kept in the house and treated as one of my own instead of locked in a run or kennel. This allows me to create an environment similar to your home to establish house manners and correct bad behaviors.

We study psychology to be able to understand why the dog does what it does and to fix the underlying issues instead of fixing the symptoms. This means that our training methods and approach differs for each dog and the goal of the pet parent. We also offer a guarantee in the contract so you can be assured that your money will not be wasted. I also offer extra training free of charge for dogs that do not meet my goals in the given time period. At pick up each member of the pet family is instructed and demonstrates understanding of how to get desired results, how to correct issues, and how to further training so that the training is not a waste.

It's that time of year that all us husky and double coated owners just love! 🤣 Time for blowout season. With the recent heat waves I know there is some shedding pups.

We offer bath and blowouts to help make it through the next couple months with some sanity left. We only book one dog at a time, so you pick up when they are finished, no sitting in a kennel all day at the groomer. As husky and GSD owners ourselves, we also know the importance of a good brush and blow out, so no cage dryers here.

Prices depend on breed, size, stage of blowout, and any matting. First session does require a full bath service, but afterwards we offer weekly or as needed blowout/nails. It is recommended double coats only be bathed every 6months for optimal skin and coat health. We also offer a loyalty program so after 6 visits, you receive a free blowout or $20off.

Appointment times offered Mon-Saturday, some Sundays between 9am-6pm drop off time. Message for appointment.

I have been slacking on posting videos so here yall go.

Sia is our most recent 2 week board and train. She is a rescue that came to us knowing 0 commands. This video shows some of the commands she learned in the 2 weeks here. She also learned play dead with finger guns, stay, and middle (heeling between the legs for fun).

**UPDATED**

I am aware of the Victor recall. The Victor reps are estimating it will be 3-6 months before they are producing anymore food.

As yall know I have sworn by Victor Hi-Pro Plus for many years and still greatly support them, especially with this recall being completely voluntary. I will be going back to Victor as soon as there is food on the shelves.

In the meantime, ive had several reach out to me for new recommendations and the Victor reps are advising that the closest alternatives are Valu-Pak purple and black.

I am not a huge fan of the ingredient list at first glance so I will continue to do my own personal research this weekend to see if that is truly the best alternative, but if you are like me and out of dog food the day of the recall🤦‍♀️ then this is the option we are going with for today.

For those of you who buy from Jean's Lawn and Garden, they are offering a refund with receipt of all Victor purchased since 9/1/23 and they do carry the purple and black options of Valu-Pak.

With a quick bit of research 2 additional alternatives slightly better ingredient list are Diamond Natural Extreme Athlete and PureBalance Beef and Wild Boar.

This was another pup that went home with the 2 week training at 12 weeks old. By the end of her training she was heeling on leash, knew sit, down, stay, here, heel positions, started off leash heeling, and had started her service dog commands for deep pressure therapy and pick up dropped objects.

These aren't your typical huskies. We still have 4 pups left. 3 of which are service dog prospects.

Fang- 4yo neutered shepsky, lap dog. Looks and sounds like a coyote.

Artemis and Athena- 5yo registered sisters. Used to be lead dogs on sled, super chill lap dogs. Prefer they go together. Dominant females that rule together. Adorable videos in the comments.

Magnus is here for a big case of aggression rehab caused by people not respecting boundaries and trying to pet dogs without permission. He was supposed to start service dog training, but the incident caused that to be put on pause, so we are trying to salvage his career. Moral of the story, if it's not your dog leave it alone 🤦‍♀️😭

He's come a LONG way. We still have a ways to go but we are able to go out in public controlled and a lot less stressed. He wants to work and enjoys his job thus far but just doesn't trust people, not that any of us can lol

I'm excited for this boy and his momma, who is working so hard to make sure he has the best possible life. She deserves her boy more than anyone I know.

He is blocking on command as part of his service dog training, not because im allowing him to be dominant. We are still hoping for him to be able to provide the service his mom needs after training, even if he has to do it muzzled.

Apparently Facebook has changed the rules again. I didn't realize it only let's us post 60 second videos now on here. So here's the other half of Knightley's training video.

Here is an update on Knightley. We just did a quick run through of our commands due to the heat. It's impossible to have them out much more than 5 or 10 minutes during the day with this heat index. We've been doing a lot of night time training lol he did mistaken here for heel, but I rewarded regardless since it's soo close in wording and he wasnt looking at the hand commands. There were also a ton of distractions.

Is ADHD in dogs a thing?? 🤣 Knightley is soooo bored and dying because im making him be "calm" and not run around like a psychopath 24/7. It's like trying to get a toddler to stand still and be quiet for 5 minutes

Does your trainer have a 9 year old co-trainer? Rodney has been training dogs with me since he was 5. He started with helping train his own autism service dog. He's essential to our training program especially for dogs with children or elderly owners. My youngest started helping out around 3, but he's not as interested yet at only 5, and is normally used as a final test for some of my trainees with elder owners or very small children. Getting your dog to respect the children in the home is vital for their safety and your enjoyment of your dog. Dogs tend to see kids as puppies and lower ranking members of the pack. Having them respect kids helps prevents corrections from the dog like nipping, it helps prevent food stealing and knocking them down or sitting on them, it also allows your child to enjoy the perks of owning a dog like taking them for walks, playing with them, teaching them tricks. This dog had a young owner around my sons age who loved to go on nature walks with the dog but she would drag him everywhere and it just wasn't fun or safe. So we made sure she knew that she had to listen to the kids too so that he could enjoy safe walks with his favorite companion. Its not going to be as pretty or refined as it will be with an adult handler unless he puts in the work but at least shes not dragging him. And who is going to mess with a kid walking a rottie😆

Artemis is a 7month old GSD puppy here for the basic board and train. She was skittish, nippy, and stubborn. She liked to slip her collar and play keep away. We have made so much progress, including off leash heel and stay under distraction. She still needs a lot of work but she goes home this weekend and I'm excited to see her continue to progress at home.

It's that time of year! The time that all double coated dog owner dreads. Instead of spending hours brushing them, sweeping, and rolling your clothes 🤣, let me blow out that undercoat for you. Prices on double coats are a bit extra during shed seasons. Our grooming hours are now after work hours. Drop off Mon-Fri between 4-6pm and Saturdays 8am-12pm. deshed brush/blowout and nails $30 for short coated. Long coats(wooly)and XL breeds message me for a quote. Murphy is a 3 year old lab here for the 2 week board and train. He's a stubborn boy but he's super sweet. This is his 1 week update. He's making good progress even though he's not a fan lol

I unfortunately didn't get a full going home video due to the consistently terrible weather, but we did get some snippets. My kids were screaming and the neighbor dog was barking so I turned off the sound but the play dead is a pew pew sound 😅 Smokey is a 9m old GSD full of personality. He just finished 2 weeks and since he was a fast learner he learned heel, here, sit, down, stand, stay, spin, shake, high five, play dead, back up, kennel, and leave it. When he came to us, he pulled awful, he liked to play keep away when coming inside, refused to go in his kennel, escaped, and pushed pass you when u opened his kennel and the door, and smacked and nipped when he didn't want to do something. He's a super fast learner but only when he feels like listening so we had to find ways to keep him engaged and make training and paying attention more important than being goofy and a jerk 🤣 he still has a ways to go but I was super proud of his progress in just 2 weeks.

Freya is a 14 week old GSD pup that was here for the 2 week board and train. She was a blast to train and I look forward to seeing her progress in her training at home.

How do you tame the elusive pot-belly raptor? Belly rubs of course

Raising protection puppies means being a bite decoy for the first few months. We encourage good bites, yes it hurts lol, until they are about 4 months old, when we can start teaching that biting mom is bad lol. This is the most crucial time for development and if biting is deemed bad now they may think all biting is bad and have issues with bitework later on, which is usually the #1 mistake in raising a protection dog. #2 being aggressive obedience too early. Videos of their puppy obedience training will come soon. Genetics truly make a difference. Full mouths, strong piercing bites, strong steady unrelenting holds even with some agitation at 6 weeks old. Obedience training starts this week as well. 1 high drive female and 1 medium drive male left available to qualified homes.

This is Chief, a 1 year old malinois mix, that was here for the 2 week training. He had some fundamentals, but listened when he wanted, wouldnt recall, counter surfed and had some confidence issues, so we tuned up what he knew, met our goals and then pushed his training and added some tricks the remaining time he was here. We managed to get a good start to off leash heel, spin, back up, reverse heel, and play dead.
