We will have our handmade dog treats available at the various craft fairs we are attending this winter at our Dam Cabins and Gift Shop booth. Our first fair of the holiday season is this Friday at the Sanford Center in Bemidji, MN, from 12-4. We will have our sweet potato treats available there. The events to follow we will also have our peanut butter treats back in stock. Keep an eye on our Dam Cabin and Gift Shop page to see where we will be popping up at these next few months while our shop is closed for the winter!

The last day our Dam Gift Shop will be open for this season will be Sunday, October 15th. The last night you can book our cabins for the 2023 season is October 25th. Booking is now open for the 2024 season. Visit www.damcabins.com to book your stay.

Some new collar patterns being added to our collection! We’ve been busy making items and getting stocked up to do our first fair for the season, we will be at the Bemidji High School on April 1st, with some items from our Dam Cabins and Gift Shop but mostly our Shady Dog Farm pet items. We will be doing another fair on April 29th for sure, and maybe one more in April TBD, but then after that our shop and cabins will be opening back up for the summer!

We have a few events coming up that we will be set up at with our pet goodies! First up is Ladies Day Away at Jerry’s Bar in Boy River this Saturday, Nov 19th! Then join us at our gift shop, Dam Cabins and Gift Shop on Nov 25th and 26th for a Sip and Shop opening, then finally at the Bemidji High School for their Holiday by Hand Craft Fair on Dec. 10th! We will have all of our handmade pet goodies and fresh doggy treats at each of the events!!

Thank you to everyone who made 2022 a great success! Our gift shop is now closed for the 2022 season. We will open back up in May 2023! Until then you can still purchase our products on-line or see us at a few holiday fairs this fall!

The last day our gift shop, Dam Cabins and Gift Shop will be open for the season is Sunday, October 16th. We will be having a myriad of sales in our shop until then. During the winter firewood will still be available using our after-hours pick up. You may also purchase some of our items from our website www.damgiftshop.com or call ahead for pick-up. We will be setting up at a few craft fairs this fall/winter as well, so keep an eye out for posts about that. Our shop and rental cabins will open back up in May 2023!

Everyone, meet Dazai. She’s the newest member of the Shady Dog pack. Her big sister Aspen is super happy and busy showing her the ropes before Dazai gets bigger than her.

We’ve been making nylon and ribbon collars for over 12 years and I’ve been wanting to try making the fabric dog collars. So I made one today to put on our official Shady Dog Aspen to test it out. If I feel they are durable enough I plan to add them to our inventory and can make them in any fabric pattern.

Vendor sign up is now open for our second annual Leech Lake Party in Federal Dam, Minnesota at our shop: Dam Cabins and Gift Shop.
July 16, 2022 - Noon to 6pm.
Vendor spaces are $20 per 10ft x 10ft space.
