It is freezing out there! but some of our dogs love to play in the snow and some like mine eat the snow. Sometimes is not dangerous but other times it can be. Below zero temperatures and snow contaminated with pet urine or Ice Melt products can be Dangerous.

1.Limit the exposure to cold temperature
2.Dress up you dog with a winter coat and booties to avoid frostbite
3.Clean their faces constantly to remove ice and snow during walks
4.Wipe paws, face and any area with snow or dirt to prevent ingestions if they lick afterwards when getting home.
5. if they get wet with the snow, dry them and put a dry warm sweater until they regulate their temperature. a dogs normal temperature should be between 101- 102.4 F

Contact your Veterinarian if signs of Vomiting, Diarrhea, Coughing, and Lethargy

Doesn't matter how many times a dog has been groomed before, when they go to a new salon or get a different groomer each time, is staring over again.

Grooming can take a few hours and we need to keep the pet comfortable and calmed.
This ca. Take several grooms until they get used to. A place brings many distractions and for some that had bad experiences at a shop, this can trigger their fears.

I want to do the best haircut, but getting to know the pet and make her trust me and feel safe and loved is my #1 priority on that first visit and always.
This puppy did great and she is very sweet, a little nervous but is totally normal.

Important Reminder .
If you schedule an appointment for multiple dogs and just bring one, you will be charged the $30 no show fee for the pet you did not bring. Remember that the appointment time is set counting on the amount of pets that are going to get groomed. If you call and schedule for 3 dogs, is 3 appointments in one. Make sure to let me know with 24 hrs notice.
That way those times are available for other clients requesting appointments.

Since I am a expedited service the amount of pets I can groom per day is very limited, and when you just show up with only one pet, it affects my business. Of course, there are emergencies and if your pet is sick is understandable and the fee can be waived that time. But make sure to let me know ahead of time as soon as you know, and not when you are already here.

To all the clients that scheduled appointments for this weekend being aware of the upcoming winter storm, please allow your self more time when driving, that way you will be safe and make it on time for your appointment.

Even though almost every breed can be trained to be a service dog, not all are ideal for specific tasks.

There is a big difference when someone has a real health condition or discapacity like kids with Autism, people suffering from PTSD, seizures etc.
Dogs and pets I generally feed on your emotions.

Love your dog and give them what they need to be healthy and happy

THIS IS HOW NEXT YEAR'S SCHEDULING POST WILL LOOK LIKE .
I would post this again by Halloween when Holiday appointments start to fill up

Thanks to all the clients that prebooked their holiday appointment and to all the clients that used my services throughout the year.

This first year after opening my expedited services working from home was a little challenging. Getting a new business out there was slow with only a few clients but later it has been a great one, my clientele has doubled in this past 6 months and I want to thank all the clients that have referred me to friends and family.

The holidays are super busy and because everybody want their pets looking great and want to groom them as close to Christmas as possible, the spots got filled fast, especially when I work one pet at a time and availability is limited.

For all the people that couldn't get in before Christmas, remember to prebook before the holidays to ensure you appointment and plan ahead for next year.

I am a not a regular grooming shop , I am your pets' personal groomer, providing this expedited exclusive service only to them.

I understand this expedited service is not for everyone, so please make sure when requesting and appointment, you are going to be able to attend and be on time. Due to this personalized service , availability is limited. I really appreciate it

The amount of pets I can take daily giving this exclusive service is much less than the pets taken at a regular grooming shop where they keep them for hours or half a day and they charge and additional fee to provide the expedite service I offer you here at no extra cost.

Let's talk about your pet safety and when using a muzzle is necessary . And yes , your dog can still try to bite and fight to bite, but the muzzle will help keeping both your pet and groomer safe from a potencial serious injury.

Christmas season is not the same as the rest of the year, for requesting appointments. Appointments get filled for weeks ahead , please plan your holiday appointments and pre book. As much as I would love to groom all the pets that call and want in, I can't.
