Our 10th Lucky Paws Christmas party is in the books! 2023 was a great year for our shop, and we love to take the Christmas season as an opportunity to show our staff how much we appreciate them.

This year was no exception. We did dinner at Puerto Vallarta, followed by dessert and a Christmas gift “auction” at our house.
Good times and tons of laughing with staff who feel like family. Thank you, our faithful clients, for your continued trust in us.

I have been in contact with Holly from Brooklake Church, as well as Ms. Pat, Illahee’s “Communities in Schools” Outreach Resource Coordinator, and we have a list of the specific food items they are still looking for. We will be collecting at the shop until this Saturday.

Our annual Lucky Paws food drive starts today! As in years past, we look forward to serving our Illahee Middle School families.

This year, we’re shifting our focus from Thanksgiving related food, to any food that can be prepared easily by teenagers. We’re looking for donations of pantry-type items. Macaroni and cheese, canned soup, cake and cookie mix, canned chili, taco seasoning, tuna, rice, cereal, canned vegetables, etc.

We will be accepting food, as well as cash donations, from now until Saturday, Nov 18th. All proceeds will be delivered to Brooklake Church and will serve Illahee Middle School families.

All cash donations will go towards the purchase of frozen Costco meals. The girls and I will be making a Costco run the morning of delivery.

We are excited. Lucky Paws loves this event and we love your support! THANK YOU!!

Our remodel is complete and we are thrilled with the outcome!!

Most exciting of all is having made space for a 5th grooming station and being able to give our newest groomer, Hailey, her own space to devote all her energy and skills to your pup. Hailey has been with us for two years. She started out as a receptionist but we quickly learned that she has some serious grooming skills! She has trained for a year and is dependable, friendly, and sweet with our furry friends.

You make a great groomer Hailey!! We are proud of you! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for your patience as we took a few days last week to remodel and deep clean the shop! We are ten years old this month and it was time!

We repainted, did a bunch of repairs, moved a couple walls (and made them taller! No more jumping!) and ultimately made room for another grooming station. We will work on flooring in the coming mos.

Here’s to the next ten years with clients who feel like family! Thank you!

We’re pleased to announce that our receptionist Hailey will be moving up into a groomer in training position in January, opening up the receptionist role.

This position is very physical and requires impeccable time management and customer service skills. We are a busy shop and the ability to multi task is a must! You will be juggling phones, laundry, p**p pick up, detailed cleaning, more laundry, more p**p. You get the idea.

If you are a team player, have read this far and are not scared off, you may be just who we are looking for 😊

The hours are Tuesday through Saturday 8:am-3pm. We will be interviewing Friday Dec 30 and Saturday Dec 31. Please message Sarah Doughty via Facebook if you are interested in booking an interview spot. We can’t wait to meet you!
