Happy Valentine's Day to all our friends.

We are hosting a trip to Chick's Saddlery and Western Wear on Wednesday February 19th from 10:15 - 11:15. The address is
18011 S. DuPont Hwy, Harrington DE. We will tour the store and learn about the many different products in the horse industry from saddles to equestrian attire. Our attendees will even have the chance to gain some experience in retail sales and help customers shop for that perfect pair of boots, cowboy hat or saddle 😊. Afterwards for anyone interested we are going to Rudy's for lunch. The average lunch cost is $7-15.

Finally, after rescheduling several times due to the weather we enjoyed our Winter Observation at Killens Pond and recognized our 2024 volunteers!! We used a Venn diagram to compare Killens Pond winter and summer observations. Most noticeable was the FROZEN pond!! It was beautiful to observe. We also went into the Nature Center to see the toads, tree frogs, spotted turtle, corn snake and skinks. We also recognized everyone who volunteered at SOAR in 2024. Your help is truly appreciated and we are blessed to enjoy your friendship.
