Found, young intact male beagle in Allegan,44th and 117th. Mom and other puppies were originally with him but they were caught, sounds like he has been on the loose for about 2 months. No collar, no microchip, in the care of the good Samaritan that found him. Please call 269-561-7304 if you know who he belongs to.

ATTENTION!!!!!!
** Altered Office Hours the week of June 10th-14th**
Dr. Mahar will be out of the office until Friday.
Dr. Eberly will be in the clinic Monday, Wednesday and Friday (8am-5pm) to take amazing care of our furry patients.
Tuesday (9am-5pm) and Thursday (12pm-5pm) we will have staff answering the phones, scheduling appointments and the office will be open for filling any prescription/food needs.
If your pet experiences an emergency or health concern during these times, please call the clinic for a list of emergency and urgent care coverage for the week!
Please be patient and considerate to all the staff, as they continue to provide quality care to our patients.

Chow that was found in Fennville on 122nd and 57th Friday the 12th around 2:30pm. In care of Allegan Animal Control currently. Collar w/ no tags. Good Samaritan that found him/her brought them in to scan and one of our receptionists was unable to get close enough to her to scan for a chip or determine s*x due to her temperament.

Here is some updated information from a trusted source on the respiratory outbreaks throughout the country. At this time, there haven't been reported cases in MI.

We had a similar run of respiratory cases go through our area Aug/Sept of 2022. It is important to note that there could be many causes for coughing in our dogs, and many times our dogs can do well with supportive care at home. Reach out to us, if your dog is showing signs of coughing, sneezing, lethargy or reduced appetite, especially if they are seniors or very young animals.

Vaccination is our best resource for keeping our pets healthy, and if your pet is showing signs or been exposed to a dog showing signs, it's best to keep them away from other dogs.

State officials have confirmed that a dog found in Detroit that was euthanized at a veterinary hospital in Farmington Hills did test positive for rabies.

This week we give a shout out to the Licensed Veterinary Technicians in the practice! Cassie, Cindi, Lindsey, Sarah, and our newest tech, Makenzie, inspire us daily with their compassion and commitment to giving their best for all of our clients and four legged furry friends. These accomplished professionals take on so many different roles in the day to day activities at Mac’s Landing and are key players in the health and well being of everyone that walks through those doors. I couldn’t ask for a better group to work side by side with, and I know you all have memories of when they’ve been there for you and yours. Take a moment this week to share in our gratitude for the sacrifices they give for this emotionally hard and physically demanding passion to which they’ve been called.

Unfortunately, we are no longer able to provide appointments on Thursdays to maintain the current staff that we have. The clinic will be open from 12:00 to 5:00 to pick up prescription and food orders. Emergencies will be referred to local urgent care and emergency clinics.

Update: Found!!!

**Lost Dog**
Please keep your eyes out for this boy, Sq**rt! He is greatly missed by his dad and beagle brother! He ran away from 113th and 60th St area in Fennville earlier this week. Owner has reached out to area shelters and he is microchipped.
