***POLICY CHANGE...Our goal is to care for as many pets as we possibly can in a day. Unfortunately, an ongoing issue which affects our ability to do this is when somebody either does not show up for an appointment, or cancels at the last minute. This is time we could have used to help another dog or cat in need.

As of November 1st, 2024, we will be requiring a 24 hour notice cancellation policy. If you do not show, or call to cancel within 24 hours of your pets appointment, we will charge your account $25.00.

All of our policies are geared towards keeping pets healthy and happy.

We will be closed on Labor Day, Monday Sept. 2 in observation of the holiday. Also, we will be closed the afternoon of Sept. 18th for a computer upgrade. Please call ahead for any needs your pet may have. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend!

Please remember that it is our goal to help our patients in a precise and timely matter. This includes dispensing medications, food and supplements. In order to ensure accuracy and be sure the products are in stock, please call the office to make your requests. All prescriptions need the doctor’s approval, so please allow 24-48 hours. A member of our staff will call you back when they are ready for pick up. If a medication is needed on an urgent basis, we reserve the right to charge an additional $15.00. Please also keep in mind that annual exams are required by Federal Law in order to refill prescriptions. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Due to staff illness, we will be closed Friday, January 26th. We will be in the office today until 5:00 pm. Please pick up your items tonight before we close. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We will be open our regular hours this week. Please call in advance for food and meds. The office will be closed Monday and Tuesday December 25 and 26th. If you have an emergency, please call the facility you are headed to first. Everyone has different holiday hours. Make sure there is a doctor on staff.

Well as much as I don't want summer to end, the last summer holiday weekend is sneaking up on us. We will be closed Labor Day Monday in observance of the holiday. Please call in plenty of time to make sure we have all the food and prescriptions your pets need. Also, just a reminder, we have a technician out on maternity leave, so we are a bit short staffed at this time and we are booking routine exams and visits out a few weeks. "A farm dog has broken a world record after being crowned the oldest living canine. Bobi, who is 30 years old, has reached the milestone by outliving his breed's normal life expectancy by almost two decades.

Bobi is a Rafeiro do Alentejo, a Portuguese breed best known for being "an excellent farm and estate watchdog" according to the American Kennel Club. The breed typically has a lifespan of 12 to 14 years.

In less than 24 hours, a TikTok clip posted by has racked up over 566,000 likes and 2.5 million views.

It seems age is just a number for Bobbi—who is 30 years and 267 days old to be precise—as he is still fit enough to roam around and play with a feline friend.

Bobi was born on 11 May 1992 and has lived his life with his owner Leonel Costa and his family in Conquerios in Leiria, Portugal, according to Guinness World Records.

Bobi's age has been verified by SIAC, a pet database authorized by the Portuguese government and managed by the SNMV (Sindicato Nacional dos Médicos Veterinários; National Union of Veterinarians).

Previously, the oldest dog ever was Bluey, an Australian cattle-dog. He lived from 1910 to 1939 making him 29 years and 5 months old when he died.

The Costa family believe the secret to his long life is living in a natural environment and having the freedom to walk around whenever he likes.
