Angel Arms Senior Pet Refuge was established to provide a final and loving foster home for senior and/or unadoptable pets who have been displaced from their homes and/or abandoned. This forever home is a loving alternative to euthanasia for the older furbabies that need a warm and comfy place to live out their last days. Angel Arms does not adopt out the senior or special needs pets we take in. Th

e event of losing their family, loved ones, or being abandoned/lost is an extremely stressful time for these pets and we want to make their final days, months, or years as safe, loving and peaceful as possible.

Today our little Pinky was helped over the rainbow 🌈 bridge. No judgement please, we did our best. She came to us with cerebellar hypoplasia (Wobbly cat syndrome) and was just not improving. The vet said that by her 16 weeks she should have been able to stand and walk, but she couldn't do either. She needed help to eat and could only drink water from a bottle. I held out as long as I could to see if her quality of life would improve, but it didn't. It was slowly regressing. This was the hardest decision I have ever had to make and really don't want anyone to judge me for it. I'm going to need some time with this. Rest in peace my beautiful baby girl.
