We are saddened to report the passing of retired St Louis County canine K9 Shug. K9 Shug was a bomb detection canine who proudly served the citizens of St Louis County as well as those attending events at Busch Stadium. We are thinking of Shug's handler and his family during this difficult time. We are proud to have served you and thank you for your service. RIP K9 Shug. 💙

Congratulations to all the canine teams for successfully completing their annual certification. Canine teams from across Missouri, Illinois , and even the Univ of Iowa, gathered in Eureka, Mo for the event to certify in areas including narcotic and explosive detection, criminal apprehension, and tracking.
