Kitkat and Chief received a well deserved massage today! I am so happy with the results and they each have a plan set in motion to help improve their well being and movement all together! A huge thank you to Lauren for coming out and taking the time to look at our horses. We are so grateful and can’t wait for another session!! Highly recommend!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

We would like to introduce our horse of the week! Gypsy!

Gypsy is a 10 year old Dutch harness horse that Susan rescued from the kill pen. When she arrived in the farm she seemed to be very shut down, didn’t care about anything going on around her. As time passed it was very evident that she was abused in her past home. She wouldn’t let us anywhere her for anything. Susan has worked so hard with her and getting her to trust people again! Her boyfriend Chief has helped her greatly as well! She now lets us bring her inside to eat and she stands for the farrier and vets as well! We are all so proud of Gypsy💕 It’s truly amazing to see her start to trust people again!

First show of the season was a success! I am so proud of Parker and KitKat, they did absolutely amazing today. Three firsts and two seconds! Kadi also did amazing in her lead line classes! She got two seconds! So incredibly proud of everyone💕- Maddie

Here at FREC, we are checking on the horses 3 times a day to make sure they are not over heating, have plenty of water and hosed off at bedtime. We made temporary shade for the two that don't have any yet; and we are keeping a close eye on this weather to ensure the safety of the horses! Thank you to all the amazing barn crew for your hard work and your loving care for the horses! You are the dream team!

Blazes 6 months transformation is amazing!

Blaze came to the farm from the kill pen 6 months ago. His owner Sue has done an incredible job giving Blaze the care he deserves! We are all so happy with his progress💕

Beautiful evening here at the barn!

Gypsy was a little unsure of the hose filling up their water so chief was happy to show her it wasn’t going to hurt her💕 these two share such an amazing bond and chief helps her so much with new things!

KitKat and Luna had a grand time running around the pasture today. They were thrilled to be hosed off once they were done. Luna loved it so much she decided to roll and get hosed off at the same time!

Join us in wishing John a very happy birthday! John has a deep love for every horse here at the barn. His dedication to their care is evident in the fact that he comes to feed them all first thing in the morning, before he even goes to his full-time job. We hope your day is as wonderful John!

Happy Monday everyone!

We would like to introduce our horse of the week! Luna.

Luna has been at the farm 4 weeks now and has been doing amazing. She belongs to Cori and Brice. She has a huge personality and loves to spend time with everyone including Cori’s 3 daughters. She is a great babysitter. She is a 6 year old Mustang from Wyoming. We are so happy to have Luna at the barn and everyone loves her personality!

I would like to start this off by saying Congratulations to DeAnna. She has been leasing Fancy for 5 years now and has been so amazing to her in every way. The bond these two have is truly amazing. It has been a hard decision on my behalf to retire fancy. She has been my partner for 7 years now and we have done so much together. She has taught me so much and I will forever be grateful for her. I loved watching her teach kids how to ride and be the teacher all kids need once in their life. We have done so much together, and I will cherish those memories forever. I am so excited for DeAnna and so grateful for her knowing she will give Fancy the retirement she truly deserves. Fancy will be missed here at the farm greatly but she will be enjoying retirement with her new mom💕 - Maddie
