St. Louis Savannahs is a small in-home cattery minutes from St. Louis, Missouri What is a Savannah? Feel free to ask any and all questions.

A Savannah cat is a cross between a domestic cat and the serval, a medium-sized, large-eared wild African cat. They are known as the "dog-cat" due to their love of water, desire to play fetch and many times walk on a leash. There is a great range of personalities, colors and sizes in this breed, so it is best to know what you want prior to buying. Currently we are producing F3 and next year, F4 k

This beautiful 4 yr old f3 melanistic girl is looking for a new home. She is out of Batman and Ariel. She was from Ariel's only litter and my only melanistic litter. Her current owner recently added a 4th cat to her household and it set off a series of territorial fights that has ended with her hiding and having litter accidents. Her owner says she was a great cat prior to this and wants what is best for her. This decision was not easy for her owner, so any mean comments won't be tolerated. Her owner's description is below:

The good
Shes a sweetheart
She drools when happy
The vets like her because she doesn't fight them
While she doesn't not like to be held she will almost never claw her way away from me just wiggle a ton
Shes a dry food eater
She likes playing with pipe cleaners and fuzzy balls
Shes not a real big climber (but will if provoked)
She is a major bed cuddler wants to be on or near her human
She will cry in car carrier initially but usually settles doesn't pant or get overly stressed

The not so good
It appears she needs a one cat home
Since recent occurrences she is not been a good litter box user tho she was prior
She is a bit messy eating will push her bowl around and knock food out at times
She has shown tolerance for the dog but never really liked him
