Momma Mia arrived at Cats Angels with her kittens. They immediately went to a wonderful foster home where they were spoiled and loved. Momma Mia is now ready to go to her forever home. She is good with the cats in the adoption room. Momma likes to play and she is a very sweet girl. Please consider adopting Momma Mia!

If you are feeding a stray cat please remember to get it fixed.

Cats Angels is a volunteer based organization since 2001 helping with low cost spay/neuter services and with TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return to Caregiver). We receive no local or federal government funding and operate solely on private donations, fund raising, grants and sales from our Thrift Store and your support is appreciated. Recycle your aluminum and cat food cans at the bins in our parking lot at 709 S. 8th Street. We graciously accept donations for cat care and resale items for our Thrift Store. Information about our Spay/Neuter, TNVR and Adoption Programs is on our website.
Cats Angels welcomes volunteers to help us care for the cats and as retail clerks in our Thrift Store. Our Volunteer Application is online. Thrift store hours are 10a-4pMon-Sat.

With summer festivities kicking off, we want to remind you about the symptoms of heatstroke and prevention tips:

-Never leave your pet unattended in a car
-When hot/humid, keep your pet’s time outdoors limited ​
-Keep your pet hydrated​
-Ensure your pet has ventilation and a cool environment​
-Dogs with short noses are at higher risk due to their condensed facial anatomy and restricted ability to cool themselves​
-If any signs of heat stroke appear, contact our team immediately. ​

Is your pet scooting or licking their rear? It could be their a**l glands.

A**l glands are located on the rear of dogs and cats. The glands produce an oily, fishy-smelling fluid that helps with scent marking. Sometimes these glands can get impacted or infected.

Soft, consistent stool, as well as allergies, are common causes of irritation. If your pet is scooting, licking excessively, or showing signs of discomfort around their rear end, contact us! We will help to identify the cause and determine the best course of treatment.
