Cats Angels has some very sweet cats that do not like other cats. It’s not easy for a few of our adults to share the adoption room with kittens and juniors. Please consider adopting a cat that has been with us for 4, 5 and even 6 months. Boots, Allie and Mama Mia are very sweet when they are in a home with no other cats. Their adoption fees have been sponsored. There has to be someone out there who doesn’t want a kitten and would love a companion at the holidays.

Pickles is looking for a kind someone with a big heart. She is a beautiful one to two-year-old tortoiseshell and is as sweet as a sugar cookie. Pickles recently required a right back leg amputation, but she is recovering nicely and is adjusting well. The veterinarian asked us to take her in and find a wonderful home for her. She has been at Cats Angels for just two weeks. Pickles loves to be petted and loves to purr. In our adoption room, her cage door is open and she is learning how to navigate her new surroundings as a "tri-pawed" kitty. She will need an adopter who is able to help her continue the journey. In time, she will be able to run, jump and play like other felines. Pickles and our other cats and kittens all have one common wish on their Christmas list: a home of their own for the holidays. Do you think you could cross that off their list? They sure hope you will!

“A Forever Home at the Holidays”

Nassau Humane Society, Nassau County Animal Services and Cats Angels are joining forces to help cats and dogs find their forever home. For the month of December, each organization will cross post an adoptable dog or cat on one another’s page. We hope by having a new Facebook audience, a pet will have a comfy bed to sleep in before the end of the year.
We encourage local businesses to participate by following and sharing posts from NHS, NCHS and Cats Angels.

Foxy will be in the adoption room today. She’s a little doll! Foxy’s back legs have just a little sway. Exercise will help strengthen them. She learned how to jump on the bed and cuddle up for a good night’s sleep in her foster home. Foxy would love a family with kids so she can go room to room playing and napping. She’s spoiled. 💕

Patty arrived early. She is in a cage in the adoption room, purring and looking for some pets. What a sweetheart!❤️

Our 5 month old Foxy will be in the adoption room today from 1230p-4p. Vicki, her foster mom can tell you all about her. Please consider adopting a kitty. There are so many homeless cats and kittens out there that need a home.
