Any one out there who has had a total knee replacement. If anyone during your time of recovering told you it will be easy and stop complaining, walk away. I had mine done last Wednesday. It really hurts, can not sleep and the pain meds sometimes work.

Always thinking about the new year. What will the clean calendar on January one fill up with during the year. So far, my calendar is set to breed Wiggins in February, Oakley in the fall and a new knee February 7. So no hiking or travel this year. But I will continue with my health , friendships, and crazy life with all the dogs and continue to help kids.
Wishing everyone a healthy new year. That is number 1.

yep. It is time to join bionic humans who have to get joints replaced, February 7 2o24 is my new knee. Have to wait a year to go hiking again.
It will be delightful to have no pain.
