KEVIN and RACHEL is absolutely crushing it in Day Training! 🙌

This guy has been making incredible progress lately and we are here for it! When Kevin first started with Rachel, he had some big challenges - relentless attention-seeking barking, impulsivity, reactivity, and self-control struggles.

The meaningful progress he's been making is so exciting to see! Every step forward is building the foundation for his future success.

Rachel and Kevin have been putting in serious work together, and you can tell they're having such a blast during their training sessions. There's nothing better than seeing a dog and trainer click like this - when the training becomes fun for everyone involved.

Kevin is learning that he can get attention in much better ways, his impulse control is steadily improving, and those difficult situations he has ant home are becoming more manageable. Most importantly, his confidence is growing with each session.

Way to go, Kevin! And huge props to Rachel for all the serious love, patience, and fun you bring to your sessions with this guy. You are magic ☀️

🌟 Today we want to shout out to Melissa!

If you don’t already know, Melissa is one of our talented trainers who also holds our weekly shelter breaks - giving shelter dogs individual time to decompress and have some fun in our training room. Watching these pups head back tired and content, ready to shine for potential adopters, never gets old. She provides such a wonderful and safe place for them to just be.

But beyond being a skilled trainer who genuinely helps so many clients through tough situations, Melissa is also just one of those people who makes work better for everyone, too.

She's the first to check in when someone's having a rough day, remembers everyone's birthdays, and consistently brings thoughtful ideas that actually improve how we do things. 💪

She also serves on the board of an organization supporting other dog rescue groups - because her heart for this work extends way beyond our doors.

We're really lucky to have Melissa on our team. Thanks for being such a caring teammate and advocate for both the animals and people in our lives! 🐾

🙌🏼🥳 What an absolute blast!

Our Labor Day Private Enrichment Event was everything we hoped it would be and more. Watching these amazing dogs discover their favorite activities, gain confidence, and just have FUN was the highlight of our weekend!

Our trainers had the best time getting to know each dog individually and tailoring every single session to what made their tails wag the most. Some discovered they LOVE agility, others were scent work superstars, and a few just wanted to explore and take it all in at their own pace.

A huge shoutout to our eight fantastic participants and amazing trainers, Maddy, Dana and Brooke!

Every single one of these pups brought their own personality and showed us what they're passionate about. And honestly? Our trainers were grinning just as much as the dogs were! There's nothing better than watching a dog light up when they find "their thing." ✨

Thank you to all the amazing families who joined us for this special event. Your dogs brought so much joy to our weekend, and we hope they're still dreaming about all the fun they had!

Farewell to Our Amazing Cassidy! 💛

Last week ago we said goodbye to someone truly special - our wonderful Cassidy, who has been an incredible part of our team family.

When Cassidy first joined us in a trainer support role, she didn't just fill the position - she completely transformed it. Her dedication to building systems that support people and helping to streamline some of our operations was SO impactful. And those systems and processes she created will continue to benefit our team for years to come.

Later, when Cassidy transitioned into social media, she brought that same innovative spirit and attention to detail. But what we'll remember most isn't just her professional accomplishments - it's the person behind them. Cassidy is one of those rare individuals who brings genuine care, compassion, and positivity into everything she does. Her hard work and dedication have been matched only by her warmth and the joy she brings to our workplace.

While we are incredibly sad to see her go, we couldn't be happier for her as she embarks on her next adventure in the dental field! We know she's going to thrive and bring that same wonderful energy to her new team. They're so lucky to have her!

Cassidy, thank you for the love, support, and countless ways you've helped our team grow. You've made such a meaningful difference - not just in our operations, but in our hearts. Though we'll miss you terribly, we know you're not going far, and we can't wait to see you soon 🌟

Working on socialization? Join us for a special drop-in Sniffari in the City class. An urban adventure designed just for puppies!

We’ll meet in downtown Ferndale to explore the sights, smells, and sounds of the city while helping your pup build confidence, focus, and positive social skills in a real-world environment.

There are TWO opportunities to attend:
- Tuesday, September 2nd @ 7:15pm
- Tuesday, September 9th @ 7:15pm

In these outdoor sessions, we’ll focus on:
🐾 Encouraging curiosity through safe exploration
🐾 Practicing calm, on-leash greetings with other puppies and friendly people
