Is your pet currently on a heartworm preventative? While heartworm was pretty uncommon here in the past, we are now seeing more cases of heartworm in the Pacific Northwest. Many of those cases are in pets who have never left the area, so they are contracting it from mosquitos that buzz around in our neck of the woods. Heartworm is a life threatening disease, so protection is important.

If you have questions about heartworm, or would like to pick up a heartworm preventative, just give us a call and we can help. Let's keep those furry friends healthy and heartworm free!

We are loving the sunshine and warmer weather the past few days - unfortunately, so are the pests that we start to see more this time of year. Did you know all of this about fleas?
