The holidays bring with them tasty seasonal foods!
But some of the foods we love can be dangerous to our pets.
In order to keep our furry friends safe, remember not to feed your dog any of these holiday foods:
๐ฅง Anything that contains grapes or raisins is super toxic. Keep your dog away from the Christmas pudding and mince pies!
๐ฐ Whether raw or baked, macadamia nuts are dangerous when ingested.
๐ฅ Our pets donโt process alcohol the same way we do, meaning that even small amounts can be dangerous. Clean up spills as soon as they happen, and clear cups away as soon as you can.
๐ฆด Cooked bones are fragile, and bone splinters can injure your petโs stomach. Never feed your pets meat on the bone.
๐ซ Chocolate is toxic to pets! Be careful to lock it away out of reach, and teach children not to share chocolate treats with their furry friends.
Ready for the festivities?
By keeping these things in mind, you can enjoy the holidays while keeping your pets safe.
