NEW UPDATE: A member of our vet staff team offered to foster this pup to keep a close eye on him! We are grateful 🙏

Update about the skinny/underweight dog & it's friend.

We picked up both dogs and brought them in our care last night at 11pm. We brought the underweight one to the vet clinic first this morning. The other ones appears in good health and has a future appointment booked.

We did find out this morning that the "finder" is the owner of both dogs.

They are both safe in our care as of last night and are recieveing care.

We decided to name them both Bon & Jovi.

Please donate if you can. Bon needs at minimum bloodwork and we will update at the end of his appointment.

Ear notching is an option for feral cats, but unfortunately, in our climate, it can be difficult to differentiate between a notched ear and frostbite!

UPDATE: I PICKED UP DOGS THIS EVENING (10:30PM). WE HAVE THEM SETTLING WITH FOOD, WATER, SHELTER. VET appt for tomorrow to access the severity/cause for the white dog. Brown one appears to be in good health/normal eating/drinking and will schedule him over the next few days.

*WE WERE JUST MADE AWARE OF THE SITUATION & POSTED IMMEDIATELY. THESE DOGS ARE NOT YET IN OUR CARE*

Are these your dogs? Found by good samaritan, they have been taking care of for 2 weeks, one or both needs urgent medical attention.

We are helping but giving owners the opportunity to come forward is case of XYZ reasoning. (Dogs have been missing, etc.)

Nothing Iove more than the view of spayed/neutered FERAL kitties not creating more kitties.

We are so beyond grateful for all of the support for this FERAL cat colony in Brainerd.

We got 14 more cats spayed/neutered. This marks day 3 of our vets continued support for this project! Get Your Fix-Veterinary Surgical Center

We NEED your help covering this bill today and finishing up this project!

Total Bill: $ 1,396

(For the remaining 8, we do not have a date set. Our vet graciously offered to fit them in as they are live-trapped!)

$1,400 needed for TNR Kitties!

We have another group coming in from our TNR case!

14 kitties getting spayed/neutered today!

We need estimated $1,400 to pay this bill! I won't know the total bill until the end because of spay vs. neuter. Please help if you can!

Our TNR goals/efforts are to avoid 60 turning into 100 cats.

Please help if you can! $178

We did not have the room but could not say no to this little pirate.

Blackbeard was an unclaimed stray with some sort of damage to his eye. This must have been an old injury that didn't was never treated, there was nothing left to save so we removed it.

Thankyou to our vet for being able to sneak him on the schedule today! Get Your Fix-Veterinary Surgical Center

He got neutered, rabies vaccine, felv/fiv tested, and his eye removed/tissue sewn shut.

Please help if you can, this was an unexpected cost/intake.

$178 total

P.S. I brought my personal pirate dog for moral support.

We are happy to announce that we have 2 MASCOT kitties for the rescue!

Meet Michael & Toby!

Their mom was the first ever kitty officially brought into the rescue, so we thought it would be a perfect fit!

They do not enjoy photos but do enjoy snuggles ❤️

They will be involved in more social media videos/posting/etc.

Michael (brown tabby) is a handful who has a knack for knowing he is handsome and taking advantage of it.

Toby (orange tabby) likes to have everything very specific, and if he doesn't get his way, he throws a fit. The only cat he likes in this world is Michael.

They are 4 years old, brothers and we love them with all our heart ❤️ Hope you do to!

Nothing fuels my soul more than getting kitties spayed/neutered.
