The babes have loud heartbeats! Don't trust the numbers on the doppler, that has become unreliable. Oh, but the sound it picks up is undeniable and beautiful! Near the end of this video, you will even see another baby that is fluttering above! Next week's agenda will include an xray for a baby count, followed by their highly anticipated birthday! More to come!

Tonight was fun to bring in the pups to swim with us. First was Ms Light Green, followed by Mr Dark Green. This is their 2nd swim today! These fun English babes are eager for a lap to call their own!

Rollin Rollin Rollin RAWHIDE! I found the music clip to pair with videos like this! G'morning world!
♀️♀️♂️ looking to claim their own zip codes!

This past week has been scary, dealing with roundworm. I took in a poo sample and a pup to be tested for worms and parvo. Parvo came back negative, but roundworms were taking hold of my babies. A tragic lesson was learned when we lost Mr Blue and Ms Yellow. We switched to another dewormer to nip this in the rear, and the puppies are thriving! I can only post 1 video at a time, this was done a few days ago as we were bouncing back stronger than ever. We've been working with the sound of lawn mower and weed wacker. Also, we are starting to like the kiddie pool and going in on our own.
Today has been a decent day that the pups enjoyed the outdoors for a while without thunderstorms forcing me to rush them back inside. This is the time I took to take apart their pen, deep clean and rebuild with the plan to triple their play space. I think they approve. Some of these babes are still looking for their own zip codes on July 2nd.

First time outside AND LOVIN' IT!

I was cleaning and preparing their pen for the upgraded litter trays. As I was vacuuming, a cpl pups joined me as others watched close by. Needless to say, I'm impressed. Updated pen picture in comments, as fb won't allow me to include it with the video. I'll be adding toys.

Hungry hungry hippos trying mush at 3 weeks and 2 days old. Paisley has not wanted to spend much time with her babes, so we are starting the weaning process. I just love this, messy faces and feet!
We are mobile and we are hungry! Genetic test results came back. Ms Pink, Ms Tan, and Ms Yellow are ICH clear. While Ms Purple and Ms Light Green are carriers, they will not develop the disease and will live a full life just as the clear pups. They are also cleared by parentage on all other diseases tested through Embark Labs.
Silver Butte Golden Retrievers
6.5 weeks gestation, I love listening to their "train tracks" heart beats. My fetal doppler doesn't pick up well on the heart rate as it should read closer to 200, so ya just listen with your volume up!

Now they are on my heels all the way to the door, hungry hippos demanding breakfast! Sweet Barbie kitty is observing in safety hehe. The boys are in need of families to call their own.

First time the babes walked out of the pen on their own 4 feet, down the back 2 steps and into their shaded pen. You hear my praise and shaking kibble to lure them. Hungry hungry hippos!
Since today will be the hottest day they were not outside for long this morning. We scurried to expand their indoor pen, it's a whole new discovery for them! These kiddos have done so well with using the litter trays (or right next to the trays is still a success). Added more toys, those will end up in the litter boxes as they play keep away lol.

We are 3.5 weeks old and trying mush for the first time, we are hungry hungry hippos! After I stopped recording, I convinced the last 2 pups they love the mush! Maggie cleaned them up and topped them off. I have boys and a girl up for reservation.
