Thanksgiving Pet Safety Tips! 🐾🦃
Let’s keep our beloved pets safe and sound during the holidays!
Here are some essential tips to ensure your pets have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving:
* Food Safety: Avoid giving your pets table scraps. Many holiday foods, like onions, garlic, and chocolate, can be toxic to animals. Stick to pet-friendly treats instead!
* Guests: With family and friends around, make sure your pets have a safe space to retreat if they feel overwhelmed. Not all pets enjoy a crowd!
* Secure the Trash: Dispose of leftovers in a secure container. Curious pets can rummage through the trash, which can lead to ingestion of harmful foods.
* Be Mindful of Decorations: Keep decorations, like candles and holiday plants (e.g., poinsettias), out of reach. Some plants can be toxic to pets.
* Watch the Door: With guests coming and going, be cautious that your pets don’t escape. Make sure they’re safely secured indoors.
* Emergency Preparedness: Keep the number for the Animal Poison Control Center handy: 1-888-426-4435. It's always good to be prepared!

This is Arby, she is a sweet laid back 2 year old spayed cat who is selective on her feline or canine companions. She loves to lay around and get the occasional scratches and pets. Sometimes likes to cuddle but prefers to be independent. Still likes to play with toys and occasionally has the zoomies. She had a litter of kittens who all found good homes and now it's moms turn. Let us know if you know anyone who can give her a good home.

URGENT!!!

Hello All.

Update 8/26. Milo got his surgery and is recovering well.

UPDATE 8/20. Milo is recovering well but we do need to have the surgery sooner rather than later. The final cost of the diagnostics, hospitalization and the surgery is closer to $2,400 - $2,800. The surgery is scheduled for Monday the 26th. Hope to get enough funds for Milo by then!
Thank you everyone!!

This poor dog was hit by a car last night and is currently hospitalized with us but the owner, due to homelessness, has relinquished him to us for proper treatment. We do not know the extend of his injuiries right now but we need an urgent foster or adopter for him. If you know anyone who can take him in, please let us know right away!
