We pride ourselves on farm fresh, free range, pasture raised eggs with a delectable orange yolk full of flavor. We also produce whole roaster chickens as well as boneless, skinless breasts. Our chickens taste better than any roaster bought in the store!

Good news here on the farm. We have gotten some much needed rain however we still need lots more.
Just wanted to update everyone about the upcoming beef sales for this fall. We will be have 1 steer processed at a local USDA processor mid November. It is available for preordering. Our plan it sell it in a variety of ground beef and steak packages. We also have 2 steers scheduled for mid December to at we will be selling in shares ranging from 1/4 to a whole. If you are interested in any of these options reach out to Jennifer or me and we can talk more about it and give you the specific dates and pricing.

Flatwoods beef update. Unfortunately we have sold out of the beef for the spring. But there is good news. We will have 2-3 more in the fall (late October-mid November). We will also be doing some of that USDA for those customers that would prefer to purchase smaller quantities or select cuts.
Flatwoods pork update. I was able to find a last minute USDA processor so we will be selling pork cuts starting mid March.

Buying beef and pork in bulk is cheaper than buying individual packages at you local big chain grocery stores. We still have 2 whole pigs (300lbs each) and 1 whole beef (1000lbs) up for sale. The pigs are pasture raised and grain supplemented, the beef is is antibiotic/steroid free and grass fed no grain. You choose how you want it cut and packaged to best suit your family’s needs and how you use it best. Get it now before we sell out. Both are being butchered in March. Contact us with any questions about pricing or the process in general.

Well today was another busy day. Started off by mending fence and came home to find two twin bucklings. Off to Jordyns soccer game and came home to find another baby goat. Stay tuned tomorrow for better pics but here’s a teaser for you

Busy week on the farm started off with a birth that wasn’t really expected. Twin baby goats then tried to wean some calves which proved difficult as the tore through the fence(kinda figured they would). Then today after church we had to pull onw of the biggest calves from a heifer I’ve seen. Not to mention 3 soccer games and a day of turkey hunting with uncle Debo. I’m tired. Jennifer

Who needs eggs. I have 15 18 packs ready. I need them gone ASAP. We can’t eat anymore eggs than we already are. They are free range unwashed eggs. Please let me know and we can work something out for delivery if it’s close. $4.50 each

The girls have kicked it into high gear so now we Farm fresh free-range eggs. We are getting 20-30 a day so if you are wanting them weekly I’m sure we can set up a schedule. Delivery to Roanoke/vinton area a possibility. $4/dozen $5/18pk. Jennifer. Billy

We currently have some shares of our grass fed beef for sale! 1/2 shares and 1/4 shares are available. The pricing is broken down as follows:
1/2 share is $4.50/lb of hang weight (this is the weight of the carcass after it has been cleaned and striped of its hide. It is approximately 60% of the “live weight” of the steer. Take home weight is about 60% of the hang weight.

1/4 share is $4.75/lb of hang weight.

First come first serve with deposit of $250. Beef will be ready for pickup around Oct 21-25 depending on the butcher’s schedule!
