While our day-to-day farm operations are completed on our own, our farm would simply not survive without the help of some very special people. So, with very thankful hearts, we’d like to say *thank you* to the wonderful people who help make this ship sail!
🍁 Our amazing farrier, Carey, for keeping our horses sound and healthy (health starts at the hoof!)
🍁 Our amazing vets, Dr. Keegan & Dr. Rebecca & VMRCVM (for literally saving our animals’ lives at times!)
🍁 Our amazing trainers, Vanessa & Susan & Jill (for helping us reach dreams and goals)
🍁 Our daughters’ riding instructor and coach, Danielle (for treating our kids as your own!)
🍁 Our amazing farm sitter, Lexi (for loving our animals like your own)
🍁 Our amazing hay supplier families, Sharon & Ken & Nathan (for keeping everyone fat and fed)
🍁 The entire Hollins Tractor Supply team (for always happily helping us keep the whole farm running, from feed to tractor parts)

To new members of our family - the new owners of horses and goats who chose us and our animals - we are thankful for you and the animals are thankful for the loving new homes!

To everyone who came to the farm this year for an event and supported us and made us smile! 😊

What *is* a unicorn? It’s a word that gets tossed around fairly frequently in the horse world. To us, a unicorn is exactly what our mission statement says - a horse that anyone and everyone can love and delight in! With 3 little girls, it’s no surprise that our home and family life is dazzled with the mythical … and as we always say, these gypsy vanner horses are a family dream come true for us.

Oi, big Papi!!! ❤️‍🔥🔥 Del Fuego 🔥❤️‍🔥 Red roan gypsy vanner stallion … our main man 🐎 and my heart horse! Fuego is worth his weight in gold and loved by everyone in our young family. Own son of the late and great SD Black Jack.

We have been taking extra advantage of this absolutely beautiful, warm January weather. It’s a preview of spring to come … and we can’t wait! And it doesn’t hurt to have some new baby animals on the farm. Our girls always manage to come up with fun, creative ways to play and incorporate their animals that they are asked to help look over. Children who spend a lot of times outdoors are happier, more attentive, healthier, and less anxious than those who spend a lot of time indoors. The average American child spends 5-8 hours a day in front of a screen yet only 4-7 minutes on average per day in unstructured outdoor play. Parents … let’s break this trend! Get outside and enjoy the best “screen” there is … Mother Nature! 🌎 🩵
