This is our main buck pennywise 🤡😂 he’s actually a very sweet boy, the markings on his face reminds my of pennywise.

This is one of our replacement bucks. We had someone’s dogs come and kill some of our rabbits in September. They also ripped off several toes off all the rabbits that did survive. My son named this guy ghostbuster, he is a New Zealand champagne mix.

Norma, she is such a good mommy! She will always check on the kits and tuck them back in after I get them out to make sure they are all being feed and are all still alive. Her mom pepper is the same way, all my other rabbits don’t do that.

Angelique had her kits on the wire again and is still refusing to use the different style of nesting box. I didn’t want them all to die (she had 6) so I put them in with the other litter of kits that Norma just had a few days ago. She seams to be taking care of them along with hers so far!

I finally got around to putting the other grow out cage up! It’s not pretty but it will work. I think I’ll be able to put two more cages in this little shed.

Unfortunately we lost all of Angeliques kits last week. She kept taking all the nesting material out of the nesting box and they froze. That was her first litter, so we will try again, hopefully with better results this time!

These little guys are 3 weeks old! I think there’s 3 bucks and 3 does I’ll check again when they’re older.

Angelique had 5 kits! She had them outside the nesting box, one didn’t make it but the rest seam to be doing fine.

Pepper had her kits today!! When I went to check on her earlier she had just had one on the wire and was lining her nest with fur. I waited 30 mins to check on her again and she had the rest of her kits and had finished her nest! I hope the little guy that was born on the wire makes it, it was pretty cold. I will count them either tonight or tomorrow morning.

It took 4 days but she finally lifted for him!!! There were 3 successful fall offs and I left them together for 30 minutes. Fingers crossed she is pregnant!! 🤞🏻😁

Today I lowered all the cages and got rid of the broken pallet that was under the mats! I’ll probably just take those boxes back out.. I need to hang the sheet metal up I found laying around and just put a box at the end.

I only butchered one rabbit today. I sold all the does besides the one we kept and decided to keep two bucks. This guy weighed 4lbs after, I should’ve weighed him before he was processed but I try to hurry and try not to think about having to kill them. My very least favorite part of having meat rabbits. 😔

Well we decided to keep the buck that was attacked by the bull snake when he was a baby. His name is whitesnake!
