We would like to introduce everyone to our January Pet of the Month: Rosko! He is a true #herodog in that he saved his parents from a fire - way to go Rosko!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Here is his hero story:
“In the middle of the night in August, a large fire started in our garage. We were sleeping and did not smell the smoke, and our smoke detectors did not go off because the door from the garage to the house was sealed a little too well! Rosko knew something was wrong and tried to wake us up by growling. I told him to go back to bed more than once! He was persistent and began hitting my elbow with his nose. I finally got up and knew there was a fire somewhere. Our hot water heater, furnace, and natural gas lines were hot and melting when we found the fire. We lost everything in our garage (including our cars). Thanks to Rosko, we were able to get out safely and call 911! He saved our lives and our home, so thankful for our best friend!”
