It was easier to copy and paste this than write something else through tears-
❤️ The world lost a legend today. Our salon lost our mascot. Our family lost our oldest member. And I lost a piece of myself. My shadow.
Although she was only ours for just shy of 3 years, she was one of the biggest and most important parts of our lives. Everyone who met Tutu fell in love with her.
She made people love chihuahuas (including myself). She made us laugh and smile multiple times a day. She ADORED our kids. She made the cutest noises when she wanted attention. She was the sweetest most gentle soul (unless you were another dog, and then good luck to you). She enjoyed coming to the salon, because she would get loved on by everyone. But most importantly, she was special.
She was a breeding dog for most of her life, and based on her physical condition when she was adopted, that sad life was entirely spent in a crate. After my uncle was diagnosed with terminal cancer, he found her at a senior dog rescue in San Francisco and knew they needed each other. They instantly bonded, and my “tough” uncle became a proud chihuahua dog dad, spoiling her with homemade meals and snuggles as his health declined. We took her not long before he passed away, and it brought him some peace knowing she would be cared for. Little did he know she would completely take over our lives and our hearts.
Life won’t be the same without you, T***s. You were the tiniest girl but made the biggest impact on everyone. We love you so much. 🌈🐾
