🚨*$10 Black Friday Adoption Event TOMORROW, 12-5 PM! 🚨

While everyone lines up for the best Black Friday sales, these guys will be anxiously waiting for their chance at a forever home. 💔

There are over 500 animals in our shelter with one dream tonight. They're not looking for the latest iPhone or a great deal on some designer clothes. They're looking for something so much more precious... a family.

This Black Friday we ask our community to Fill Your Hearts, Not Your Carts during our *$10 adoption event and discover the once in a lifetime joy of adding a new member to your household. There are animals of every age, size, and breed waiting for the chance to meet you tomorrow.

All adoptions will include:
- Spay/neuter & microchip
- One round of age-appropriate vaccinations/deworming
- One wellness exam with a participating veterinarian
- One bag of starter food

Things to Remember on Friday, November 28th:
- Bring every members of the household, canine and human to meet potential dogs.
- Only human family members are required to meet potential cats.
- All adopters are required to present a government-issued ID.
- If you rent your home/apartment, please bring your pet policy with you.

Since our shelter pets don't have a home to go to for the holidays, our amazing volunteers decided to bring Thanksgiving to their food bowls!

From preparing special meals to making sure every pet received a little extra attention, this team was truly dedicated to making the day special for our animals. 🥰🦃 Thanks to everyone who helped out, our dogs and cats enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast filled with love...

But what they’re really waiting for is a family to share that love with every day. 💔

To allow our staff time with their families for the holiday, we will be closed for adoptions today.

We will be open for admissions from 8am-12pm. After these hours, if you have found a stray animal or have other concerns, please call your local law enforcement non-emergency number.

Meet Ava, the girl who’s been loved before and is ready to be loved again! 💜

She’s giving tiny grandma energy in all the best ways. Ava is gentle, warm, and devoted to curling up in any blanket she can find. She's 7 years old and weighs just 7 lbs. She came to us when her owner couldn’t care for her anymore, and you can just feel the love she’s known.

Ava is housebroken, crate trained, and her previous owner says she’s played well with other dogs. If you have a dog at home, bring them along for a meet and greet so everyone can feel at ease. We haven’t cat tested her yet, but we're happy to do that for adopters with kitties at home.

Her skin is a little irritated and itchy right now, but we’re helping it heal and it doesn’t dim her sweetness. If you’ve ever wanted a tiny sidekick who’s all cuddles and love, she’s your girl.

Come visit Ava and see why everyone who meets her can’t help but melt a little. We’re closed Thursday, but we’ll be back and ready to welcome you Friday at noon!

What could be better than filling your cart this Black Friday? Filling your heart instead! ❤️

Stop in FRIDAY from 12-5pm to find the love of a new furry family member. With over 500 animals in our care, we are in crisis mode and need your help!

All adoption fees will be $10 (*some exclusions apply) and the fee will be waived for our 12 featured pets. These animals are in urgent need loving homes, and we are counting on our community to show up for them this Friday, November 28th!

She Thought She’d Finally Found Home…💙

Piper finally thought she’d been chosen. She carried her favorite toys out the shelter doors with her heart full of hope, ready for the life she’d waited two long years to have. For the first time in forever, she felt wanted. Then everything fell apart, and none of it was her fault.

Piper’s back with us again. And if you sit with her for even a minute, you can see the lingering doubt in her eyes. Did she do something wrong? Why wasn’t she enough? Is anyone ever going to choose her for real? We hold her close and tell her she did nothing wrong, that she is perfect, and that her person is still out there.

Piper is affectionate, calm, smart, and endlessly well-behaved. She’s housebroken, loves curling up in a soft bed for quiet downtime, and will happily join you for a gentle game of fetch or tug. She does best in a home without other animals and feels safest with teens and adults who give her a little time to settle in. She wants a peaceful life with someone who treats her like she’s important because she is.

This girl has waited long enough. She deserves someone who won’t walk away.

🌟 Mort Is Still Hoping… Could You Be the One Who Helps Him Finally Feel Safe? 🌟

This beautiful 7-year-old orange and white tabby has been searching for his place in the world ever since he was found wandering as a stray in 2023. He’s had a couple of chances at home life, and while those families cared for him… Mort just wasn’t the right fit.

As a stray, Mort only ever knew a world where he had to look out for himself, so trust isn’t instant for him. New people, busy homes, and fast changes can feel overwhelming. He’s not a cat who wants to be scooped up or handled too much, but he is a cat who will bond deeply with the person who listens to what he’s trying to say without words.

Mort’s perfect home isn’t flashy. It’s a home with older teens or adults who understand that love isn’t always loud, sometimes it’s quiet, slow, and built one small moment at a time. It’s a home where Mort can explore at his own pace, with people who will let him settle in gradually and celebrate every milestone he makes.

This tabby is not a “starter cat.” He’s the kind of companion who teaches you what trust really means. Once he lets you into his world, it’s a gift. A bond built from patience, respect, and genuine connection. We believe with all our hearts that somewhere out there is the person who will see him… really see him… and know that he’s worth it.

A new day means new happy news to share! A few wonderful dogs and cats went home yesterday, and we’re so glad they’re starting fresh with families who already adore them.

Have you ever seen a dog look at someone with pure adoration? 🐾❤️

Trudy Judy gives you that look in the softest, sweetest moments. She’s just 2 years old, full of love, and her very favorite thing in the world is being near people. She’s still adjusting to her new reality, and it can feel overwhelming, but she’s trying so hard to be brave. A calm voice, a gentle hand, and a quiet lap are all it takes for Trudy Judy to melt right in. She seems to be housebroken, walks nicely on leash, and every small moment with her feels like a little gift.

Trudy Judy can be a little shy around small kids and likes her personal space at mealtime, so a home where everyone is fourteen or older would be a wonderful fit. She hasn’t been cat tested yet, and families with dogs are welcome to bring them for a meet and greet so our team can help everyone feel comfortable.

Her heart is wide open, and she’s ready to give it all to someone patient and loving. Meet Trudy Judy and feel what it’s like to be adored by a dog who is truly all heart. ❤️
