We plan to have our new online scheduling ready to go in a couple weeks and ask for those who already schedule online with Gingr to please be patient during our process of transferring already book appointments and to give us a call to schedule until we've announced our online scheduling is set up!

With all the snow we've been getting this month, we wanted to help make our followers aware of things you can buy to help with at home maintenance between grooms and the 2 ✨golden✨ tools groomers will always recommend are a slicker brush and a metal toothed comb.
Starting the brushing with the metal toothed comb, you would use this to find any knots or tangles that are starting to form in your pet's coat. When your comb finds a snag you'll want to switch to the slicker brush, making sure to brush out and away from the skin instead of across the body to help prevent any brush burn or soreness. Once you've got the tangle taken care of you can switch back to the metal comb and repeat the process!
Of course a lot of pets will not be a fan of having to hold still so it's ok to do little bits at a time to try and using positive encouragement by telling them how good they're being along with a treat when they do well is always recommended.
Generally it's a good idea to focus on the areas of the body that can have a lot of friction including the legs, armpits, potty and tail area and wherever they may have a collar or harness that rubs against the fur.
We hope this helps pet owners with their pets during those periods between grooms and as always we're open to answer any questions owners can have when it comes to taking care of their fluffy family member! 🥰🐾🐩😽🐈
