Muzzle conditioning
A muzzled dog does not mean a bad dog. A muzzled dog does mean a kick ass, rockstar, responsible dog owner💜🤌🏼
A dog wearing a muzzle can be wearing it for a million different reasons but it all comes down to, that owner knows their dog and is keeping their dog safe. Do not make sad noises and faces towards a dog wearing a muzzle. Do not feel bad for a dog wearing a muzzle. Instead, applaud that dog owner for doing the work and utilizing a tool that makes their dogs world bigger.
A small list of reasons a dog might be wearing a muzzle:
•the dog eats rocks, poop, leaves, or whatever they can get their mouth on
•the dog is easily spooked
•the dog is injured and in pain
•the dog is dog selective and doesn’t enjoy stranger dogs invading their space
•the dog has stranger danger
•the dog is sensitive to being handled
•the dog owner wants their dog comfortable wearing a muzzle
But in all honesty, the reason for the muzzle doesn’t matter. What does matter is that you honor the dog in front of you.
PS: Gretzky got a treat after this session with Val🤣

I love getting videos from home!! Dog training and owning a trained dog is a true lifestyle change but when you want it, you do it. Give your dogs commands all throughout the day, not just for one hour each day or on your walks.
Beckham thinks separating your arm from its socket is an extreme sport and well - it be heckin rude. He also thinks nail trims means his entire foot gets cut off - the lie detector determined that is NOT true.

He’s learning. At 6 (I think?) years old we have some deep rooted habits to break but we’re doing it! Your older dogs can learn new tricks 😉 And of course we end training with lots of love and face squeezin
🎆LETS TALK FIREWORKS🎆

It’s no surprise that it’s firework season so here are some tips on how to keep your dogs safe!
•CRATE YOUR DOG(S)
•Keep them inside
•Covering the crate and keeping them in a dark room can help, also having the tv noise or radio can be helpful.
•Work your dog earlier in the day so you’re putting a sleepy dog into the crate.
•CBD can work wonders! A little something to take the edge off never hurt no one.
•Make sure their tags are on JUST IN CASE
•DO NOT CODDLE YOUR DOGS WHEN / IF THEYRE NERVOUS. This will often make them more afraid as you’re praising them for being nervous.
•Save their dinners for firework time! Stick it in a puzzle bowl or interactive toy so they now have a fun activity to work on during the loud noises.

We love summer nights and the aesthetic of having your dog with you for fireworks but if they’ve been quarantining with you for the last year, I promise you you’re not prepared for this. If you love your dogs, keep them inside, keep them safe.
