Good morning everyone! According to our little receptionist our phone lines have been hit or miss this morning because of last nights storm. We can always be reached via email! We are hoping the issue is fixed by this afternoon! As a reminder we are starting to take a lot of reservations into the fall so if you have dates in mind make sure to get them in before we fill up!

Just a reminder to everyone to get their summer dates in! We are filling up for most weekends quickly.
Just a heads up to all of our clients coming from Madison, McFarland, or Stoughton today! Hwy MM is shut down between Hwy B and Byrne road because of the storm. You will not be able to get through so you will have to find an alternate route. You can take Irish Ln over to Syene Rd and follow that down to Byrne Rd.

This is a perfect position for students that are interested in going into any kind of animal field, or that just really enjoy working with dogs. We are looking for a pet care staff worker who has a positive attitude, reliable, punctual and great work ethic to add to our team! Duties include checking pets in/out, supervising daycare/boarding dogs, bathing, feeding, walking/handling dogs and cleaning kennel suites. Applicants MUST be able to work with dogs of all sizes and breeds and available to work weekends, holidays, mornings and evenings. Morning hours are from 6:00am-10ish depending how busy we are, and afternoon hours are from 2:30pm-5:30pm. Previous dog experience at other animal type facilities preferred but not required. Pay is based on experience. You can either stop in to fill out an application or email a resume to the kennel email.
Just want to give a reminder with the holidays coming up:
- We have a 48 hour cancellation policy, if you cancel less than 48 hours from your scheduled drop off date you will be charged for the day’s scheduled to be here. Same goes for picking up early. If you are getting back early we need to know. We have a waiting list for almost every weekend and it’s not fair to other clients that want to come in but can’t because we are supposed to be full.
- Bring in your dog on a leash.
- Please label food containers with your dogs name and feeding instructions. Do not bring in open grocery bags of food. We require sealable bags or containers. Also only bring in the amount of food they will need for their stay. We do not need the whole 35lb bag for a weekend stay. We do not have the room to store it. We will measure out what your dog needs and send the bag home.
- Only bring in food or treats that they normally get. You may think you are treating them by sending something new because they are away from home, but really it can mess with their digestive system if it’s not something they normally get.
- Avoid bringing in oversized beds. We provide a kuranda bed in every kennel. If you would like to bring in a blanket or pad to put on top that is fine. We also provide all the food and water dishes.
- We do not allow rope toys or tug toys.
- If your dog is a chewer, please avoid bringing in anything they can shred. If we notice any dogs chewing on beds or shredding toys we will remove them for the dogs safety.
- Please make sure all medications are clearly labeled and make us aware of it at the time of checkin. Do not put pills in pill pockets prior to coming in. The pill pockets break down capsules.
- Our hours are as followed: Monday-Friday 7:30am-noon or 3pm-5:30pm, Saturday 7:30am-11am, Sunday 7:30am-8am or 3pm-5pm.
-We are closed Thanksgiving Day 11/23
-We are closed Christmas Eve and Day 12/24, 12/25
-We are closed New Year’s Eve and Day 12/31, 1/1
If you pickup in the morning of any given day you are not charged for that day, if you pickup in the afternoon you are. Everyone is more than welcome to have a friend or family member pickup to save a days board.

Boarding we will be closed Sunday 9/3, then open 3pm-5pm for pickup and drop off Monday 9/4.

Starting August 1st 2023, due to an increase in operating costs we will be increasing our rates on the services we provide. The price increase is minimal, and something we must do in order to continue to provide you with the quality of service you have come to expect. If you currently have a reservation dropping off before the first you will be charged the existing rate. Anything after will be charged at the new rate.
Standard Runs: $29/day
Suite: $39/day
Additional pet in the same kennel: $19/day
Daycare: $24/day

Hello everyone!
We have been notified by several vets that there has been an increase of kennel cough cases in the area. If your dog has been coughing, on medications or not, please keep them home from daycare/boarding until cleared by a vet. We are diligent about cleaning with pet friendly cleaners but in order to keep everyone happy and healthy, we need owners to be on alert of any symptoms that persists or cause your dog to act out of the ordinary. Symptoms include: coughing, sneezing, lethargy, loss of appetite, fever, and diarrhea.
Just because a dog is vaccinated, does not mean you cannot get it.
Dogs can contract kennel cough several different ways, and the most common way is through droplets spread through the air. Another way kennel cough is spread is through animal interactions, such as playing, licking, sharing toys/dishes, or sniffing an infected dog.
The most common places that dogs can contract kennel cough are anywhere that multiple dogs gather such as: veterinary offices, dog parks, training classes, pet stores, and boarding kennels.

Just a reminder that we are back to our normal busy summer with everyone traveling again. If you are not set up on a regular daycare schedule, you need to call in advance to make sure we have room. Also if you do not plan on coming in we also need to know.
Next week we will not be doing daycare Thursday (6/30) or Friday (7/1) because of the holiday weekend. Daycare will resume as normal Tuesday (7/5). For boarding we will be closed Sunday (7/3) and Monday (7/4) for drop off and pickup. We will be open Tuesday (7/5) our normal hours.
