Raider was spotted taking his puppy Rufus for a walk at Fitchburg Dog Park. He was super excited to hear that the Fitchburg, MA Recreation Department just received a grant for $33,501 to bring some new equipment and make improvements to the park this upcoming summer and spring!

Pre-registration & pre-payment are required – please be sure to upload any previous vaccine records when you register – forms will be pre-printed for your convenience so we are unable to accept rabies certificates or distemper history during the clinic.
We encourage everyone to use our convenient online form to pre-register for vaccine clinics. This helps keep our phone lines open for emergencies.

*Registration is available by phone during hospital hours for those without access to the internet by calling 508-637-1333. *A $5 manual registration fee applies.

IMPORTANT – If this is your puppy or kitten’s first vaccines, please check the minimum age requirements below. In order to keep our vaccine clinic prices low, if a pet’s age falls below the minimum age for the clinic day, registration fees may only be applied to a future clinic date or vet appointment.
Minimum Age Requirements for Vaccine Clinic:
Rabies: 12 weeks
Distemper: 6 weeks
Microchip: 8 weeks

You will receive an email with your arrival time slot and we ask that you plan to arrive no earlier than five minutes beforehand. There will be limited time slots, so pet-owners must be available for the entire time period of the clinic you sign up for.
No refunds will be available, so if you are unable to attend your registration fees will be considered a donation.

Dear Vendors and Supporters of the Fitchburg Dog Festival,

Thank you for your commitment and consideration to support our Fitchburg Dog Festival this year. Our volunteer team wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support of our community dog park and pet parent community.

After careful consideration and monitoring of the weather forecast this weekend, our planning team has regrettably decided to cancel the Fitchburg Dog Festival scheduled for Saturday August 26, 2023. The forecast predicts heavy rain and thunderstorms that could compromise the safety and enjoyment of both attendees and our vendor participants.

We understand the dedication and effort you have put into preparing for the event, and we share your disappointment in not being able to bring the festival to fruition this year. The Fitchburg Dog Festival is built on the collective efforts of volunteers, our pet community friends and our supporting businesses, who have consistently demonstrated a passion for our community and our favorite dogs. We are incredibly grateful and look forward to the possibility of collaborating again in the future.

CMDART Training - Reading and Handling Animals under Stressful Situations
Wed Jun 28, 2023 6:30pm – 9:30pm at 33 North St, Fitchburg Fire Dept

The Central Massachusetts Disaster Animal Response Team in collaboration with Fitchburg Fire Dept Is hosting this animal safety training suited to volunteers working with emergency situations, such as emergency animal sheltering involving pet owners. Presenters include volunteers from CMDART and local animal control officers. Participants will learn how to read animals behaviors and practice basic techniques on how to handle them in safe ways.
