I'm running a special, buy 3 get one FREE! Huge deal. Only $3.75 a plant. Fall is an awesome time to put perennials in the ground. Read about what High Country Gardens has to say about fall plantings:

https://www.highcountrygardens.com/gardening/fall-planting-guide

September and October is an excellent time to transplant perennials, shrubs and trees, particularly in the Southwest, where winters are mild and the summers are extremely hot. Although you won't see a lot of stem and leaf growth in the fall, the plants are busy growing new roots. With the arrival of...

Penstemon barbatus or scarlet beard tongue is one of the longest lasting native Penstemons to landscape with. It does well under the pines and is one of the first flowers to bloom in early summer. Plus, the hummingbirds LOVE it! I don't have very many so get them before they're gone! I've been growing them for years. Photo from wikimedia commons.

Do you know that waiting for monsoon season and planting into early autumn is optimal for adding native plants to your garden? It helps to conserve water and puts less stress on your plants. We waited until last week to install this native seed increase field of squirrel tail grass that will be used for habitat restoration.
