Meet Benjamin, a one year old hound with a nose for adventure and a gift for gardening!

Benjamin arrived as an emaciated stray from Parks, AZ, but thanks to steady meals and staff TLC he’s now a healthy 40‑lb bundle of joy, ready for a loving home.

Benjamin is friendly, people‑loving, and very food‑motivated. He walks nicely on leash, plays well with dogs his own size or larger, and is working hard on his potty training. No cats or small pets, please!

When he’s not cuddling or practicing his sit for treats, Benjamin’s favorite pastime is digging deluxe holes in the yard, he calls it landscaping!

If you’re seeking a sweet, playful companion who’ll keep you smiling, come meet Benjamin at High Country Humane!
