Did you know that June is National Pet Preparedness Month? It's the perfect time to make sure you and your furry friends are ready for any emergency situation. 🚨🐶🐱

Whether it's a natural disaster or a sudden evacuation, being prepared can make all the difference in keeping our pets safe and calm. Here are a few tips to ensure their well-being:

1️⃣ Prepare an emergency kit: Pack essential supplies like food, water, medications, and important documents in a portable kit. Don't forget their favorite toys or blankets for comfort!

2️⃣ Update identification: Double-check that your pets' ID tags are up to date with your current contact information. Microchipping is another reliable way to ensure they can be reunited with you if they go missing.

3️⃣ Create a safe haven: Designate a safe and secure area in your home where your pets can seek shelter during emergencies. Make it cozy with their bed, familiar scents, and access to fresh water.

4️⃣ Plan for evacuation: Research pet-friendly hotels, shelters, or friends and family who can accommodate your pets if you need to evacuate. Prepare a list of their contact information in advance.

Willow went home yesterday and we spent some time with her owners showing them how to use all of her new commands! Walks were a sore spot before training and here are her two owners using the heel command with her! 🥰🐾👏🏻

Ramsey is here for our aggression package! She’s a bull terrier who has displayed resource guarding, reactivity, poor impulse control around thresholds, and attacking another dog in the home. She’s a sweetie though and she says she’s ready to turn over a new leaf and get to work! 👏🏻🐾🐶

Cosmo the border collie mix and Hanna the malinois mix both had some issues being calm around other dogs, as well as fast moving objects (like these running kids) when they came in! Check them out a week into their board and train program crushing all of these distractions. Great job, pups!

It was Lola’s first field trip out yesterday & she absolutely crushed it! She’s excited to be on the same page with her brother, Phil, who graduated from his board & train last week! 👏🏻🐾🥰

All 3 of these board & trains are off leash in public around distractions just one week in! Show them some love and encouragement as they start their 2nd week here with us! 🐾👏🏻🐶🥰

We love love love client updates!!! Presley was unable to enjoy this park next to home before training because of her lack of obedience- now she can play ball to her heart’s content without her owners worrying about her 🥰🎾🐾🐶

Josie is learning how to be calm in the middle of chaos! Her owner is hoping to travel more with her so this skill is super important for Josie to have. We think she’s doing wonderful! 👏🏻🐾🐶
