Welcome 6 yorkies from a breeding situation to VISIONS. They will be available to adopt once their vetting is complete.
To qualify to adopt, you must provide personal and professional refrences. You must agree to and pass a background check. ( drugs, harrassment and domestic violence convictions are automatic disqualifiers). No and yes, I mean NO small children for the safety of the animal UNLESS you are willing to let me train your family in propper animal handling classes. You must be financially and mentally able to care for the animal.
We at VISIONS strive for the benefit of the animal. These babies have been through enough and deserve ONLY THE BEST LIFE from now on.

159 wolves have been killed in Montana's hunting season. Five of the wolves were killed in Wolf Management Unit (WMU) 313, which borders Yellowstone National Park.

These wolves were slaughtered for fun, for trophy. Science has proven that there is no factual (or ethical) reason to kill wolves, yet states like Montana continue to target wolves.

For the Love of Indy❤️

It was a tough decision to separate Indy and Junior. But I know now, it was the right decision. Both dogs were lingering in our shelter because no one was willing to adopt them together.

Junior was adopted very quickly, once we decided not to hold him back. He is in a wonderful home now with a loving mom and another little dog to cuddle with.

Today, little Indy played with another dog at our shelter for the very first time. Up till now, she has been extremely difficult with other dogs, not having any part of them in her space.

Indy is ready to let down those walls and let the love flow in. I am so encouraged by her actions today. She did great and we are so proud of her.

She was proud of herself too😁

If ever a dog deserves a loving home, it would be Odie. He has suffered more than any dog ever should, out in the elements for so long. He didn't get in that horrific shape over night.

When I first grabbed Odie on that porch and picked him up, he felt like he weighed 30 lbs. After all that matted and caked fur came off, he only weighs 10 lbs. Just imagine toting that extra weight around for such a tiny dog and on top of that, he couldn't even see. The globs of matted fur completely covered his eyes. He was just wandering around the countryside, in total despair.

Dr. Lisa thinks Odie is around 8 years old. We just got him neutered and he got all his shots. He is ready now to find his Happy Ever After.

Lisa took Odie home for a few nights, to give him time to decompress, after being on his own for so long. She said he is completely housebroken. He goes to the door when he needs to go out. He is good with other dogs. He is a bit of a loner, doesn't require much attention at all. You hardly know he is there.

I am sure a loving, caring family can help Odie get his Happy back. Give us a call if you would like to meet this little fella. He has been sad for way too long...

Sparrow Got Her Wings Today😔

Sadly, this precious dog reached a point today where she could no longer breathe on her own. We had to make the gut-wrenching decision to help Sparrow along her way to the Rainbow Bridge.

As hard as we tried, and we exhausted every single avenue, we could not bring Sparrow back from the life of neglect she had before us.

Thank you to everyone that donated toward Sparrow's care. Because of your support, we held nothing back. We tried the impossible. Nothing seemed to work.

Heaven needed Sparrow more.

We would love to help this family and these two pups. We can only commit if we can find a committed foster or adopter. These pups are bonded, but the family is willing to separate if it means keeping them out of the shelter. These pups could possibly go on transport, but we don’t have a timeframe when they could go. We would have to have a rescue partner that would be willing to take adult large dogs.

These pups could be a wonderful companion to a family or an older couple.

“We just found out my dad has stage four lung cancer and we need to rehome his two wonderful dogs as soon as possible.

Both dogs are very well behaved. They are used to lounging around all day but they really enjoy their morning walks!

Bronco is a 5 1/2 year old neutered male English Labrador retriever. He loves tennis balls, treats, and naps. We think he looks like a black bear. He is the sweetest, quietest, gentlest, dog. He is great with other dogs and children.

Harley is a 5 1/2 year old spayed female Labradoodle with more of a lab coat. Harley loves to watch squirrels in the yard! She can sit for hours and just observe them. She loves to play and romp, but can also lounge with the best of them. Harley is a lover and she will nudge you with her nose if you’re not giving her enough attention. She also does well with other dogs and children.

If you know an older person or couple looking for a companion, either of these dogs would be an excellent fit. They would also make a great fit for a Family looking for well trained, easy to manage pets! They are both low maintenance, obedient dogs. They are well trained with all the basic commands, completely outdoor potty, trained, dog door trained. They prefer to be inside with their owners.”
